Stevens Pass Route Information:
The mountainous Stevens Pass through the Cascade Mountains features the longest railroad tunnel in the United States, and is now recreated in a spectacular new route for Train Simulator.
Opened in 1893 by the Great Northern Railway, the pass is named after John Frank Stevens, the first non-indigenous person to discover it. The Pass stretches from Wenatchee on the Columbia River to Mukilteo, alongside Puget Sound in Washington State, and travels through four major regions -- the urban, maritime Everett; the agricultural plains between Lowell and Gold Bar; the heavily forested mountainous Cascades region; and the semi-arid eastern slope with its ubiquitous fruit orchards.
The Pass was an important route for freight and passenger traffic to the West Coast and on to Canada, and crossed some of the State's most mountainous regions. With major industries at both ends of the route, and many smaller yards and industrial spurs in between -- including the Boeing assembly facility at Mukilteo -- the Great Northern faced a challenge to keep the route open year round.
A major achievement in engineering was realised with the opening of the 2.63 mile (4.2km) single track Cascade Tunnel in 1900 to avoid the problems caused by heavy winter snowfalls. In 1929, portions of the railroad were realigned between Leavenworth and Scenic, and a longer replacement tunnel -- twas put into service in the same year. This second tunnel stretched 7.79 mile (12.5km), connecting Berne with Scenic Hot Springs.
Because of safety issues along the route and ventilation requirements in the many tunnels through the mountains, only 28 trains per day are permitted to traverse the Pass, including freight trains carrying Boeing fuselages from its facility and the famous Empire Builder passenger train.
The Stevens Pass route for Train Simulator is a scenic recreation of the mountainous route, featuring stations at Cashmere, Leavenmouth, Winton, Berne, Skykomish, Baring, Gold Bar and Everett, as well as the Boeing construction facility and major industrial yards at Wenatchee and Mukilteo.

I have a question, Cause I'm planning to do some Live streaming TS2015 Scenario Sessions. The way how to make it precise for your main train to pass by in 3 different angles. That was amazing. Now the question is how did you get it precisely to make the trains come right by like the real life? There should be in the editor for the AI %. I learned if its 75% it goes a little faster, I'm not sure if you notice that. I want to make the Scenarios myself as best as possible for live streaming. #2 in this route do you remember the highest grade on Steven's pass? So looking forward to get it. Thanks.

CSX2057 Hi, probably going to be a relatively long post, so click "Show More" if it doesn't show ----- The Answer to Q1: They aren't AI Trains, it is simply a Trick with the Editing of the Video. So for an example, the Main Screen [ES44 DC] is obviously me driving. The first Train I pass at 00:53 [GP38-2], is an AI Train with no Objectives, so it just sits there for the entire Run. When I pass the 3rd Train at 2:24 [GP38-2], is the same thing, its an AI Train with no Objectives, and so forth for every Train the Main ES44 DC passes. After I complete the first run, I then go back to each AI Train that I passed, and add me as the Driver. I will then place the Main ES44 DC behind, and make it into an AI. Once I see the AI Drive past me, I will then start moving the GP38-2, and so forth with each Train. Then I just edit it all together, so it looks like each individual Train is interacting at the same time, when really that wasn't the case at all. I did try with an actual AI Train at the start of kzread.info/dash/bejne/iaSOtJuzppXapqw.html , but as you say, the time is different from what you set it as, so I really struggled to get that one to work correctly. From what I remember, it took about an Hour of restarting constantly trying to get the timing right, so to try and get the Timing right for several passes that you see in Stevens Pass would be almost impossible, and kind of frustrating, which is why I decided to just make it "seem" like it is the case. Sorry though that my answer doesn't help you at all, but people have given the Developers suggestions to help improve the AI in this sort of situation, so people can create much denser Traffic Scenario's. As for Q2: Can't remember off the top of my head, and Formatted my comp last week, so have yet to install it all to check. I'll let you know though when I do [prob a couple days]. It is a Route I recommend, so good to hear that you are getting it! I'm sure you'll spend many Hours of enjoyment with it.

CSX2057 Thanks =] you know what the shitty thing is though.. is I backed everything up on my External HD, and after I Formated, went to put all my old Files back on.... and the External decided that it no longer wanted to work... haha, what a Bitch! So basically, I've lost a ton of stuff including all my Templates I used for my Video's [Hence no uploads for a couple weeks]. I'm slowly getting things sorted though, and hope to have more coming soon.

The Video isn't actually a Published Scenario, it is just a quick low-grade Scenario I made purely to drive from the start to finish.

Rasmus Emil Vindvad Kristensen Oh, sorry. The Camera is the External [Press 2], You move it around with the Mouse, and Zoom out using the Up and Down Arrow Keys on the Keyboard. Note though that different Loco's have different Ranges to zoom, so some will Zoom further out than others. =]
