+Maureen Wagg I love Steven Tyler. He should definitely run a rock station, or write for a rock magazine, because he's great with words, and his personality matches the music. It's a lot like Alice Cooper's radio show.

This was a very well done induction speech by a very well respected rock and roll singer who is/was a PEER to AC/DC competed against them in the rock charts from the early 70's-onwards. Very few GREAT rock bands were so small in the 70's exploded like hell fire in the 80's then died back down but still had success in the 90's like AC/DC and Aerosmith. Two of a kind, Two great rock and roll bands. Tyler did well. Let there be rock!

AC/DC is the only rock 'n' roll band in history that successfully released the same album 18 times! Never any surprises when you pick up one of their LPs - you always know what you're gonna get. They found a formula that worked on their very first release back in 1975 and have stuck with it ever since to become one of the most successful, well known, and lets face it : one of the most kick ass rock 'n' roll bands on the planet for the past 45 years. Love 'em or hate 'em you cannot deny their longevity or success over that period of time. And to think when they were reaching near the pinnacle of their success in the USA after the Highway To Hell LP & subsequent tour, the tragic passing of original vocalist Bon Scott could very well have been a death knell for the band. But instead, they recruited new vocalist Brian Johnson from Scottish hard rock act Geordie and proceeded to release their most popular, best selling, & arguably their best overall LP in their entire discography: the monster slab of rock known as Back In Black. AC/DC are true rock legends who are still kicking as much ass today in late 2020 as they ever have even now after the passing of founding member & brother of lead guitarist Angus Malcom Young who has his input all over their latest LP Power Up. The epitome of power chord rock & a staple of my personal life playlist. There will never be another AC/DC. 45 years of three chord, blow the roof off power rock. HAILS!

Now that was fitting! I was one of those teenager's who rocked and dance to close to the fire and most definitely pissed off my neighbors. I don't think my panties were ever boiled but I don't know for sure of anything except that AC/DC will rock us into eternity! Everyone always says Rest in Peace, but AC/DC said Rock in Peace! I don't believe you rest in heaven anyway. There's no need for it. I do believe you can rock on in heaven and I'm positive that Bon and Malcolm are both rockin on! Great job Steven Tyler! I don't know who's kids those were in the crowd, but they sure were feeling cool! Good for them! That's something they'll always remember and talk about for years to come. Hell, it's 9 years later at this point so they're all grown up by now and I'll bet they've told this story many times already! Peace!

I remember back in 78’/79’ when AC/DC were doing tour dates with Aerosmith, Steven Tyler was at his lowest point in his addictions and AC/DC came out and saved so many shows, they absolutely made Aerosmith look so bad and yet carried the show all at the same time. Bon was such a showman! It makes total sense to me that the demon of screamin’ Steven Tyler inducted AC/DC. I’m sure that was the least he could do for a band that saved his bacon so many times so many years ago. R.I.P. Bon, damn it you are missed so very much!⚡️

Splort McFooFoo I ask myself that same question often. Actually, I believe Cobain was extremely overrated as a musician. He couldn't sing, his guitar playing was atrocious. The only thing he did right was heroin. (Heroin was good for him, he poisoned music)

@@Aron-ru5zk bon was on the first recorded album. The first Aussie albums, I believe it was T.N.T. and High Voltage. They combined them to make the worldwide version of High Voltage. One of my biggest regrets was getting rid of my Aussie vinyl versions. Had the Aussie Dirty Deeds vinyl, also. Regrets. Bon Scott will always be my favorite vocalist for AC/DC. Mark had some damn good bass lines for the band. They just recorded a lot of songs in a short period of time.
