Thank you for sharing this. I love that Steven Spielberg is kind enough to share his Dyslexia story with us. Our children need Heroes like him in their lives. My daughter still went through all the bullying even with the Dyslexia knowledge. She experienced the same trauma as Steven Spielberg. It has really knocked her confidence badly. I am glad FILMING saved Steven. Home Education saved our daughter and helped her to concentrate on what she is good at, rather than what is expected. She loves the new West Side Story and recorded a version of Something's Coming. But I have been told to take it off the Internet as it is a rough version. I love raw material. Perfection to me is overrated. But I guess as an artist you want people to see something you have worked hard on, and not something you have just quickly recorded. I would like this clip about Steven Spielberg shown in every school. And for teachers to please stop making children stand up in class and read out loud if they struggle and do not want to do it. Thank you.

💫 Perhaps the bullying in his youth contributed to his choices of projects that feature lead characters who are misunderstood, undervalued, or conflicted, and often face obstacles that, through the arc of the stories, are ultimately transformed, empowered or redeemed, and always find their true voice. I love an underdog!🌷
