he was a decent actor from the get go. fairly smooth and fluid.

The non action scenes in this film age well, and this is the best one.

It looks like a good movie. Its looks like it has more than just a Martial Arts Movie, but is talking about corruption in the US government and the CIA.

It was a good movie for a Seagal film and was his first movie as Above The Law was released in 1988. As a big fan of 80s and 90s action movies, Seagal’s best movies were Above The Law, Hard To Kill, Under Siege, Under Siege 2, Out For Justice and Marked For Death.

This scene perfectly explains all the US conflicts thousands of kilometers/miles away from the USA, since at least Vietnam (if not Korea) to the present proxy-WW3 in Ukraine. Every one of them started mainly because of money. Maybe with exception of Afghanistan, but who knows if there weren´t guys in the high places who knew what Al Quaeda was planning and who could stop them, but they let them do it because they knew very well they would start wars where they wanted and make tons of money.

Since after ww2 really, Italy and Greece. Than in Afghanistan before the war we participated in coups or meddling against peoples revolution and the people we funded and trained were the land owners and oil barons willing to give western buisness a slice of the pie

I liked the movie...but it's weird. Nelson Fox saves Nico in the first scene of the film. Then he warns Nico that his family is in danger. In this video, Nelson Fox confronts Nico... later, Nelson helps Nico again. Is he a villain or not?
