Good afternoon from the rainy SF Bay Area. It is imperative that you all quit with the hopium and read Project 2025 with open eyes and listen with open ears. All he needs is one day and it is over. Liz Cheney said, "No one is going to save us, only WE can save ourselves." We need all our voices in unison singing the same song every day on every venue. Facebook would not allow me today to post on this subject. Really? Why? I have loved the NOLA Book Festival, listening every day.

This is absolutely correct. He can use the border to invoke the Insurrection Act, for example, and use it to justify suppression of rights on a mass scale. The fact that I am not seeing more urgency in people terrifies me the most.

Interesting at the end the moderator asks if the American people can rely on SCOTUS to check overreach by the executive....and the murmur in the crowd tells you all you need to know about the lack of regard the American people have for that institution.

Jefferson wouldn’t free his own children? 😮 Why do we revere this man?

I would say the difference between the socialist movement of the 1900 and now is now the people discussing it are not affected by the income problems of being working class. Then the movement leaders were working class.
