I love what Bozzio brings to this track so much
The parts with the special multiple bending technique were a total auditory delight.
This rhythm is gorgeous, so many layers, wonderful
Feels like a nice throwback to Passion and Warfare.
Amazing arrangement. You are narrating a story with your guitar and it's like you don't play the same sequence of notes more than once. I'm blown away.

I think music is always telling a story. Like a messenger. Then the musician decides how to tell it, with his emotions, sensitivity, and knowledges. Or just with what he’s got : his sensitivity and instinct.
You’re making the most interesting music of your career right now, and that’s saying something. What I’d give for a collaboration with Adrian Belew.
This rhythm is so intense
didn't expect that rhythm wow, great job Steve!
An exquisite and excellent album for lovers of electric guitar, instrumental music and for all the possibilities that he has developed throughout his career as a musician and experimenter of sounds and noises that come out of this blessed and beautiful musical instrument!!!... Congratulations!!!...
My God! How is it even possible to reinvent his own reflexes!
Honestly Steve..., One of the best peace of music I've heard in a long time. Reminds me of 'The Ocean Is The Ultimate Solution' ( your finger didn't get stuck through). Love your work and thank you...

True, it is similar to Zappas Ocean. Although I still prefer that one. And Zappas fingers didnt get stuck on that tune, his own fingers didnt get stuck at all. But it happened on the same record.

You are absolutely right Stefan. Sorry about my inaccurate or confusing drafting. I added my comment having Steve in mind. Mentioning the 'stuck finger' I wasn't referring to Frank's finger. Just wanted to point out to the level of difficulty to perform this piece of music. (I'm aware it was "Bird Legs' " finger stuck at the end of Sleep Dirt).
I was not ready for these drums after listening to the original release for so long haha, awesome

Bozzio is AMAZING on this track
Steve NEVER fails to amaze me. Good God!
Steve Vai: this tune really shows what you can do, with it's self-imposed limits, rhythmic complexity, and over-all virtuosity. I hope your music continues to explore depths AND heights, as well as continues to mature. Yours is a beautiful creative process...Bravo!
Terry Bozzio - fuck yeah🌞
My jem guitar arrives today and this released. It’s a sitn
Thanks for the great music Steve
Cutting edge 👏 You and Bozzio are on fire 🔥

Maravilloso! !! Cósmico
Great song. If I'm not mistaken you recorded this with your Ibanez that is set-up like a Strat. Amazing sounding guitar. You need to have a Double Neck Jem built with a regular Jem set-up and one like a Strat. If you do can you mention my name (LOL).
🔝🤘🎸🤘🔝
This is how my brain works, my thoughts are all over the place .
Steve Vai can understand Ozzy Osbourne even without an interpreter.

@@sneagles4974 because he can fight 32 clones of Michael Jai White in his prime, 47 Mike Tysons when he was 21, 32 Jean-Claude Van Dammes (17 clones from the 1980’s-1990’s and 13 clones of him as “The Mist”), and 15 clones of my father both in his prime as a sniper in the late 1970’s and as him in his ultra old man strength now, plus several Wesley Snipes and Brock Lesner clones periodically with just his guitar alone.

You'll be at the Capitol Theater in Port Chester, NY. in Feb. My old hometown. SURE! You come there AFTER I move away. lol Although I'm between there and New Haven. I have no way of getting to either since I became legally blind and don't drive anymore. And don't have any friends who'd take me.

@Jerseyboy Ah, I see. He'll be there in October. I wasn't planning on going anyway. I only like a few of his songs. Not enough to get me to go see him. Same with Malmsteen, who'll be in Norwalk, CT. in May. Maybe I'll go to that one just to hurl donuts onstage. lol
Umm... damn...Thanks?... Methinks Frank would applaud. I just can't listen away. Going back in. Cheers!
Just consider the psychology of a person who not only requires these 3 odd guitars, but he wants to hold all 3 of them at the same time. The guy is a control freak. Absolute psycho.
wayne krantz vibes from this one. :)

Rhythm guitar?
essas guitarras da polyphia, steve vai já fazia nos anos 80 , antes dessas molecadas nascerem kkkk
Wait... is it one word or two?
I prefer the first version tbh

These drums are way too disruptive, the original was so much better! 😭

He ruined it. This song was great before, but those drums make it sound like sh*t. No offense Steve! Just my opinion.

I wouldn't go that far, but it does change the energy of the song. Before it felt like something to listen to on a beach with a fruity drink. Now it sounds like a weird jazz club remix. Wonder what it would sound like if the drummer was using brushes. But yeah, I liked it better before.
Yucky! The drumming is absolutely horrendous!!! :(
This is ABSOLUTELY THE WORST of Steve Vai! I'm a huge fan and this is just terrible!
