I believe you are lost in your belief that we are in the end times, but I am greatful you see this disappointment. Just as something to think on. Wtf did Jesus say to the disciples? GO TO THE ENDS OF THE EARTH, SO THEY SHALL KNOW MY NAME. Are these end times Revelation scholars doing that and is 90% of the church doing that? Hell no. There should be no place when followers of Christ should even question the notion of the time of Christ's second coming because according to the the word of Jesus it really shouldn't matter. I'll leave you with another piece of advice. If you're strong in your faith you should be able to question that which you have come to believe. Without there is no further learning, and with that you yourself have negated all possibilities for further understanding of the book of Revelation. You will not be damned for being mislead, but through the the stages of JUDGEMENT as it is put you will be faced with the whole truth of your actions and life under supervision of God. I grew up Christian and at age 19 I am finally starting to construct my own faith on a personal level and ever since that door opened I've been obsessed with understanding the hypocrisy and BS of the church. Before I hated (as I quote) " the God I once served", but now I am starting to grow to love the one true God, our lord and savior. I can thank the Thrash Metal band Slayer for opening my eyes up to the evil behind the organized church and I can thank the love of God for helping me find peace through understanding all the horrific disparity the church had caused in the last 1000 years.
