This is unrelated to the video's content itself but do you mind sharing your controller's settings layout per button? I have truly upped my Steve gameplan thanks to your videos, Soul.

Of course! I play on pad primarily and play on keyboard secondary. On pad: R1 - 1+2. This is so my 3 throw breaks are as close to each other as possible. L1 - 3+4. This is essential back in T7 because instant flicker 11 was Steve's staple combo ender. It took me months to learn that ender and this binding makes it so instant stance transitions are smooth as butter because one hand controls both movement and stance entry/exit. R2 - 2+3. I think of heat as a "trigger" or a "devil trigger" so to speak, and R2 seemed like the most logical choice. L2 is 1+4 but only because I don't use it that often. It's the most inaccessible button IMO so I mapped 1+4 there. For Keeb/ stick/leverless with 8 buttons as follows: A B C D E F G H ABEF - 1,2,3,4 C - 1+2 G - 3+4 D - 2+3 H - 1+4

Thank you so much, this is exactly what I was looking for. I play on Keyboard mainly and Pad as secondary. You've been my go-to channel for our guv Mr. Fox since Day 1 and it immensely helps being able to associate the proper buttons for developing the correct muscle memory. Keep uploading at your own pace tbh.

@@NearT8 I had R3 set to Rage Art so I can't accidentally press it, and when I do, it's an intentional rage art. L3 is blank. Cheers!

as a ultra hard enjoyer my b1 gets punished and i use 1 2 3(1) instead
