He is not just a drummer, he is a true MUSICIAN. He can really make his drums SING!!!
Steve Jordan is the ONLY acceptable human that can wear sunglasses indoors.

Steve Jordan said it. Music is life. I can relate to the Miles Davis in one ear and the Beatles in the other. Keith Richards brought me here. Thank you Steve. Great story's.
When he said it was the greatest Letterman performance of all time I thought, mmm, OK. Just watched it and it is. Amazing.
It was and you Steve played absolutely amazing I was trying to catch my breath when you guys finished it was amazing small set ❤
Brilliant player, wonderful man and a gift to the world at large...
Steve Jordan, love your passion! Thank you for sharing you journey, so inspiring! T.
Gotta be the coolest player out there. Great dude. This is such a great discussion by Steve. Amazing sound he has. Intangible excellence.
Favorite drummer
Man,he tells good stories
I watched that David Letterman video. That was intense! I'll bet that was one of the biggest nights ever on that show.

Music is life! Great guy!
i saw him with clapton mind blowing. watch the blues brothers live at winterland 1978 best drummer ever!!
100% right, backbone of the band
This made my day
5:35 he sums everything up about why I love playing. I am not a control freak by nature, but I love the pressure that comes with driving the ship.
wonderful! very good! amazing!
"Music gives live. "Music sustains life." "Music is life." - Steve Jordan Same man same...
What an awesome person and great drummer... I would love to jam with him just once...
FAN since 1978 ! My idol ! 1st !

The James Brown on Letterman is my next recommended video. Can't wait to see it.

Steve Jordan...Aki olyan pontos, hogy órát lehet hozzá igazítani!👍
Very inspiring thanks Steve
yeahhh....a new video of Steve....he could probably do a show alone and people would watch
Mr. Steve Jordan's performance on the John Scofield ELECTRIC OUTLET album (1984) is probably one of the finest in all of recorded history. If you appreciate drumming, it's essential listening.
Damn right Steve the Tami show was the greatest ever...
This ride cymbal is amazing!!! Is it a giant beat or a 2002?
The Stevie Wonder of drumming!
I'll never forget James Brown on Letterman. That's right. Hirum Bullock was before Sid. Backing James up must have been the Holy Grail.
What can be said for the man that plays in Keith Richards' side project (you better be more than just good); then you are picked by none other than Charlie Watts(R.I.P) to fill in when Charlie couldn't resume part of a tour for the Rolling Stones. Now he is in the drummer's throne for the Rolling Stones since we all recently lost Charlie Watts. Steve Jordan can absolutely do the job, and does it above and beyond! Rock on Steve.....
We grew up da same & music has changed, sadly our schoolz needz 2 stop removin it from our schoolz...... Da rapz has 2 much adult containz n it.. But MUSIC RULEz Da WORLD..... God Bless Bro!

+Giordano Rosadoni I think its a Ludwig Supraphonic. I don't think he changed his snare in this video though, The one in the beginning is the one in the end.

+Giordano Rosadoni Actually it looks like a standard Yamaha steel snare.
Dat snare.
Parents influence, lucky guy.
Filling in for Charlie watts this fall on their live shows,it should be interesting
Ironically I believe that the greatest Live TV performance was Neil Young SNL 1989. Steve was playing drums that night. Hmmm
Yeah that's like the worst thing, I always tell me bandmates that if any of them mess something up either no one notices or no one cares but if the drummer drops even a single beat it gets everyone's attention. Extra pressure
Bass player CANNOT “flub” that is instantly noticeable!!!!
This is the Letterman performance Steve is talking about: kzread.info/dash/bejne/n52r3NikdbaoeZs.html
i just realized how low he plays his hats
lazaro ramos

I agree with Paul Bentley. I've been a fan since I heard his name on the Blues Brothers LP.
