Good man CRASS played HALIFAX LEE MOUNT back than
Saw crass Carlisle Market hall 1981 when I we're just 14 years old. I remember looking up at all these tall punks with 6ft hair and I'm stood their with a harinton jacket and red trousers thinking I don't fit in? Crazy I know. But that's how i felt at such a young age. Never forget it seeing Steve ignorant on stage . Remember him standing on one of the large speakers pretending to be king kong. Dirt we're excellent also.

@@markuswilliams3190 So you were there . Nice one! What do you remember from that gig? I remember Steve stood on a large speaker joking around pretending to be king Kong. Lol.. and people spitting at Annie anxiety. She lost it and started to spit back at the crowd.

Exactly it's just a cash in,fair enough we all gotta make a living but maybe he shouldn't off announced that he wasn't performing crass songs anymore and just carried on doing it. End of the day some of us have crap jobs and forked out a few quid to go up to London to see the final performance of crass songs only for them to be performed constantly ever since. The greatest working class rip off!

Strange seeing him front a crass tribute band….seems so irrelevant… the music is so diluted and sounds uninspired…could be any session players in backing band. Crass is dead.

I remember seeing Crass graffiti all over the place when I was a kid, I thought it was some kind of rebel, socialist movement
