steve is talking so intelligently about these amps in the artist's language despite being an engineering guy. much respect.

Dying to try the D60. Had Ultralead and Sig:X heads way back when ... perfect sounding amps.

I was wanting an effects loop on my Deliverance 120 but now hearing you talk about it I'm not so sure. The thrust and tone of this amp is so very cool and maybe I'm better off leaving it alone.

I added the loop to my amp, not sure how much I’d actually use it. Turns out I use it all the time.

you can always use a Suhr iso line out pedal out from one of your speaker outs....wet/dry if you have the gear. Tone of your amp remains true. iso pedal to effects into a return of another amps loop, etc. Works great for when you want a little sauce on top.

I’ve had the original without and one with. I wouldn’t sweat any difference in tone.

I have been wondering if I f’d w my Series I D120’s tone by adding both the fx loop and less/more mods. I kinda felt like when the loop is active, my tone gets a little less oomph if that makes sense. When the loop is bypassed, tone is full on. But I swear I feel it was more balls before the mods. I really don’t need the fx loop for the amp. Less more is nice. Should I revert back to og series I specs?

The only thing keeping me from buying the original deliverance was the lack of fx loop. I now own a D120 ii.

I own an original VHT D60- one of the best clean tones, and pedal platform amps out there. I run it in stereo with a SigX - LOUD.

Love my D60 II and D212. Best master volume I've ever heard on an amp. Don't really need an attenuator.

I bought the 120 & still have it… I always wanted the High-Low foot switch as well,,,I didn’t care about the Loop. Either way, it’s a killer amp!!! That being said, I think I’m grabbing a new 60-Watt 2nd generation👍🏼

If you buy a fryette load box, don’t you get an effects loop there? That’s even better than one between the preamp and power amp.

If you get the Power Station, yes.

@@FryetteAmps I think that’s a better option than between the preamp and power amp. You could get true studio like reverb and other time based effects after power tube distortion
