The spiritual battle has heated up A LOT--and not just for poor children convinced they aren't their physical gender. It's everywhere. And one thing Nefarious makes clear is, the enemy exists to HATE OUR GUTS. And without Jesus, we would be at their mercy (which does not exist). God help us all.

If they were real popes, we have to accept everything they instituted, including all Vatican II ambiguities and Novus Ordo Missae (New Order Mass). If they are frauds, we can be non-schismatic on papacy and traditional. The SSPX is schismatic by resisting popes, as they view the persons claiming to be pope. If they say they're not popes, they are not schismatic about the papacy.

The old man goes to the wrong Catholic Church. Freemasons and Modernists have taken over since the Council. Anyone who really wants to find the *real* Catholic Church, needs to go to the only living branch, the Traditional priests of the Society of St. Pius X. Find them and find salvation.

You need to go to a Traditional Latin Mass parish, oratory,or chapel and and experience the true Catholic Church. In the movie the demon was afraid of the priest until it realizes that this N.O. Priest was not going to use the Sacraments to subdue it. Instead the priest only wanted to use modern psychology. The demon no longer found the priest a threat. Only the Catholic Church instituted by Christ and in powered by the Holy Spirt can stop this evil and give us saving grace. Read the bible and the real history of The Church. The Church is still here,go find it while you still have time. This is a great movie.

We as Christians MUST be careful what we let into our minds. Demons are REAL. I don’t think going to see this movie would be a good idea for me. My mind, while sleeping, is very innovative when it comes to dreaming. I already have occasional demonic dreams the closer I get to God. I don’t need any help letting that stuff into my mind willingly. I think that’s only asking for a “visit” from the demonic realm.

I went to see this movie with a friend who likes horror shows. I didn't know going in that it was a Christian produced movie. I assumed Hollywood produced it so I expected the usual manipulations and deceptions. I was STUNNED that EVERYTHING was 100% accurate, including the theology. I've conducted successful exorcisms with extremely difficult possession cases and was shocked that the nature, character and intentions of the dialog were dead-on with how a demon actually interacts. Someone knew what they were doing with this portrayal. This movie just pulled the mask off the face of demonic evil. It's been officially and publically outed....which is when things typically get interesting and intense. Hang on to your hats boys and girls.

Greek Orthodox bishop and exorcist here. A masterpiece. The best so-far on demonic possession and demonic intelligence. Having performed four exorcisms in my life, I can concur with everything the demon says in the movie. As St John of Kronstadt says about fallen angels, the dumbest of them is still a thousand times smarter than the smartest human. Literally eons old, beings of pure will and energy, and wilful evil unfortunately. They lay traps and snares and temptations and seductions and get a poor soul piece by piece, consent by consent. How marvelous then, that such a powerful and intelligent being can be cast out by a mere human, an unworthy servant of the Son of God. Our Lord Jesus Christ truly gave that power to his beloved Holy Apostles and told them to spread that power and spirit on and on, which they did.

I hear a voice...a very young voice telling me one day she and I will meet. She is my niece. She was here for a very short time then was aborted. I watched Unplanned several times, and bawled during the scene of the blue containers where pro life activists place their hands to pray. The blue containers contain dead fetuses from that clinic. Haven't seen Nefarious yet. Evil is doing very well in this country.

@@avoidedmonster4117 That was not the point. She was relating to the voice of a spirit of an innocent child who was waiting to be born and was aborted, not connecting to the mother. If you see a child being killed by a drunk driver in the street, would you not be affected by the useless nature of it and the fate of the child? Or would you just feel sorry for the drunk who committed the murder? A potential life is still a life, one of the children of God. I believe in choice, but it also can carry a burden of guilt, whether or not you think so. Choice can be our burden and our redemption. We will only find out how bad or good our choices were at the end.

Excellent movie. I came out of the movie theater saying the lead actor deserves an Oscar for his acting...but knowing he'll never get one because of the truth in this movie. My only disappointment is that there was NOTHING at the end of the movie (not even after the last credit) that pointed people to where they could get help if they or a loved one could get help if they suspect that they have demons. Not a great place to keep people hanging. In these last days, churches need to beef up or develop from scratch two types up ministry: 1) deliverance ministries (due to an entire generation being raised with occultic influences) and 2) discipleship ministries (because of all the new believers that will join the body of believers during the revivals). C'mon church! Get going! We can do this!💪😀 Let's help set people FREE. 😃💕

I saw the film at a matinee today. I love films that rely on great acting and a great script and when much of the film takes place in one room with intense conversation, like Alfred Hitchcock's, "Rope," or silent film, "The Passion of Joan of Arc,"--real acting. Sean Patrick Flanery should receive an academy award. I love that there was no foul language and no sex scenes, and it's not really that frightening, gory nor violent. It's rated R, I guess for intense subjects. I asked my husband this morning if he would take me to an R rated horror movie. That's the strangest request I've made in a long time, so of course he couldn't refuse. It's only the second rated R movie I've ever seen in my life, the first being, "The Passion of the Christ.". And like that film, this one stays with you. The credits were relatively short and I had to sit in silence for a few moments afterwards.

My concern is - about the ‘taking them to coffee after the movie’ reference - I don’t think many Christians are dialed into the reality that we are actually in a serious spiritual battle. That youth of our country are under siege by the enemy of their souls! Crickets. The church needs to drill that into the body. It isn’t happening. I hope this movie redirects seekers to ask questions to believers who will take the questions seriously.
