McAvoy is on this show more than Graham Norton
His Stallone is on point
That Ronnie Corbett impression is superb. Not only the voice but the physical mannerisms as well.
He does a good Alan Partridge as well. You'd swear it was actually him.

Ah yes, Alan Partridge was a legend in his own lunchtime. Such a shame what happened to him; to fall from stardom in such spectacular fashion. He exists now only in the minds of his legions of still-loyal fans, along with Steve Coogan, whose caricaturization of him remains unmatched by any other impressionist.

But his gift for language, too, which he inherited, I presume, from his Irish ancestors. Everything sentence moves and lands and then is paired with another and the couplet does the same thing.
Damn best Sly impersonation I've heard.
Legitimately a national treasure one of the funniest men on the planet.
Aaaaahhh Ronnie Corbett. Much missed

not only are the impressions absolutely spot on the jokes work perfectly. you could tell the joke without the voice and it would still be hilarious. Steve is definitely one of the UKs best actors and comedians

Shocking indeed, all he had to say was:- "Of course we all remember the great Ronnie Corbett". Then do his impression, which I don't think is as good as Rob Brydon's version IMO.

I sat in the TV audience of a cheapo comedy show called 'Stand Up' in the late 80s. Coogan was one of the comedians on there mostly doing impressions: Corbett, Brian Glover,..can't remember who else. Jeff Green and somewhat forgotten Rob Newman - half of double act Newman & Baddiel - was on it too.
What a funny story!

Nailed the Stan Laurel really well but Reilly was uncanny as Ollie.
He did Ronnie Corbett and Sly Stallone in Spitting Image in the 80s to 1990s
