I actually like how he looks. Maybe because I'm of the Home Alone generation and I find it comforting to sort of see a continuum, that growing old aint so bad. :)

He doesn't mind it, he's used to it. The Coens wrote into the script about him being "funny lookin'" in "Fargo". He has always talked about it with light humor.

Super underrated, too, as far as pure acting ability. Reservoir Dogs, Fargo, Trees Lounge, Big Lebowski, Ghost World, and Boardwalk Empire are all such diverse rolls and characters and he makes every one of them fly.

Lmao learning that Steve Buscemi originally wanted to be a ventriloquist is the least surprising thing I've ever heard.

Steve Buscemi: True American Hero. He went & helped out on 9/11/01. He insisted it not be publicly put out there. I found out about it just recently. Oh yeah, one of the GOAT character actors IMO.

I really liked him when I first saw him on an episode of Tales From the Crypt , along with Roger Daltrey . I was just a teen and have loved him ever since. Talented and very well spoken.

I didn't realize how much Bill Skarsgard looks like a young Steve Buscemi.

If you really want to see what Buscemi looked like earlier, check out Parting Glances (1986), a film that will really stick with you. It was a long time that I figured out that OMG, he was a main character.

Don't forget a film called "Living in Oblivion"! :) Superb acting! Not just by him but the rest of the cast also!

Idk I feel like he looked pretty normal in the Hudsucker Proxy. Then again that was in 94' and he's only in it for like five seconds.

Indeed. And there were speculations that he was the one who actually stabbed Nancy. Plus: he was Basquiat's bodyguard and drug supplier too (he appears as himself in the 1996 movie about the artist). There's a a cool documentary on him, bit hard to find but well worth watching.

He played the most believable depiction of a God that actually fits with the state of the world today, ever.

I do admire him greatly as an actor and as a classy fella. Yes, it was heartbreaking to hear of his beloved wife's passing. They had a long & happy marriage. I hope he's holding up well. He's one of my all time favorite actors. Such a gifted actor ! And off screen such a wonderfully warm & down to earth fellow.
