This interview was so genuine. I love how Steve was never actively talking down and just genuinely wanting help kids and have friendship in return. His legacy shall reign for generations to come.

I know I'm crazy late, but on the off chance you see this, I wanna say thank you, Angela. Thank you to you, Traci, Steve, Donovan and the whole Blue's Clues team! You've given me awesome childhood memories and I STILL watch and enjoy Blue's Clues to this very day! Even when Blue's Clues and You came out with Josh, even as a young man, it reverted me back to my childhood! So thank you for what you've given to the world! 💙 🐾 🖍 🐶 🗒

I could NEVER get my mind off of Blue's clues when I was young! It was the BEST childhood of my life! For me now at the age of 18 with autism, I still enjoy the show to this day! TY for the childhood! 😁

I think this interview was just absolutely amazing, and it never fails to make me smile just seeing YOU TWO! I also grew up with Mister Roger's Neighborhood, and it was such a sweet show, just like Blue's Clues! I think without Blue's Clues, a friend and I wouldn't have met online through it, and make my voice heard again because I was diagnosed with selective mutism at such a young age, and it helped me start talking once again! So thank you Steve, Angela, and Traci for helping me speak out again, now I never shut up! Ha! I'd love to hear more from you guys, even Donavon and Josh, I'd love to hear about their process being the hosts of Blue's Clues! This makes my heart SO happy! Thank you guys again, for everything! It’s so profound to hear Steve’s side of the story and how entering children’s television was a deliquite field in his perspective. I wish I could've joined your debate! Blue's Clues was probably the earliest obsession from my lifetime I was exposed to as far back as only a year old. And Steve, it may be interesting to know where I was when Blue's Clues was popular and on the roll. If struggling with depression, you probably didn't know what you were missing elsewhere.

I really hope Blues Clues had a safe working environment (I am being told that they did, given that all they had to work with was a blue screen backdrop). Steve talked about this a bit in a recent interview, how they were largely divorced from the Nickelodeon drama - Nick was based in LA, while Nick Jr. was primarily based in NYC. Essentially, they were two different production companies operating under one parent network. The most difficult part for him was the 10 hour days spent acting against nothing but some stage direction in front of a green screen - as an actor, having no one to play off of while shooting probably gets old after a while. But he doesn’t hold any ill will, judging by how involved he is with the new series both behind the scenes and onscreen.
