If the manufacturers move back to USA it would crash the u.s economy and deflate the dollar. would take years to correct that or grow to where you are now. Easier said than done though. To do that, the US government will have to pay the international conglomerates to move their production line from China, since China is very industrialized and still has fairly cheap labor. With the stock market and dollar index as it is, it's hardly practical.

He is an average geo-politicist. He blurts some well known geo-political strategies like Hamman or Spykman and organizations you never heard of and you are impressed. Take a history course or a political science class and you can cover all those topics and gain a greater context of what he is talking about. You might very well disagree with his views if you took the time to study them.

Bannon graduated from Georgetown with a bachelor's degree in national securities and an MBA from Harvard with honors. He was a lieutenant (03) in the Navy and traveled internationally extensively. He worked for Goldman Sacks for several years and left as a VP of the Los Angeles branch. He was also a founding member of Breitbart News. With such an extensive background, I'll listen to his analysis of international finance and geopolitical movement over some jealous hack on KZread ANY day.

While Bannon makes some interesting observations regarding the state of relationships with China, he's too ideologically driven to make an objective analysis on this topic. His populist incline makes his arguments palatable to non-subject matter experts, but much less substantive to experts and researchers in this field. Also lots of opinions stated as fact lead to narrow conclusions on his part. Everything is black or white with Bannon, that's his weakness.

After one year this is still one of my most favorite Real Vision Interviews.

I see a compounded IQ of 500 between these 2 guys. No wonder there’s no mainstream media here... amazing talk

Mike Austin Now I realize who was pulling the strings, in the trump cabinet, before Bannon left the WH. Makes total sense. He is pretty sharp.

When I was working in Chicago in the late 70s. Everywhere you looked ads were proclaiming the new investment opportunities that awaited anyone willing to send their cash to China. I used to go by Wisconsin Steel works which were exclusively making frames for International Harvester. Then in the space of a week I witnessed the employees locked out of the plant. The word was that I.H. took their money and the employees pension plan and invested it in a new Chinese factory. This was the start of de industrialization of the midwest states. I believe it was because of the Unions and the power they were wielding at that time. The companies did not want to have any kind power/profit sharing eating into their bottom line and the investment into China screwed the Unions power royally. So fast forward to present day and situation it has royally screwed all Americans to the point where now something has to be done with China. So as someone who has lived long enough to see these situations develop.This was a Made in America problem which stemmed from total greed. All I can say is good luck straightening it all out. We have our work cut out for us. Lord Jesus save us from ourselves.

Why doesn’t any American interviewer pointedly ask “What exactly is America’s National Interest?” when it comes to the South China Sea or the military encirclement of China? I’ve seen the statement several times, that “we have to protect our national interest” but it’s never explained to me so it seems to be a cover for some kind of national belief system that is not up for public debate. This is not just about China as this term is used whenever the military is sent in.

Bannon is so very complex. Far more brilliant than most realize. A Patriot as well. He reminds me a lot of Newt Gingrich. Pretty strong grasp of the China situation.

This kind of dude should be yr presidential assistant. Unlike those politicians, He truly masters his topics to the fine details.
