So happy for you Steve. And proud.
Life long Broncos fan. As well as all my big ass family. And Atwater is top on our favorites. 👍 along with Gradishar and Rulon.
Steve Atwater is my all-time favorite Defensive player, HOF was long overdue.
Steve and Terrell was my favorite players for all the years they played. Two great humans and a violent players. T.D still looks like a beast even still today. Two of the best players we ever had in Denver. Such a beautiful family and the wife is a one in a million lady. Nice work team Atwater. We are proud and love you in colorado.
I remember the day they drafted Steve. I was in the 9th grade and was already a rabid Broncos fan. I saw him play a couple times on TV but had no idea the way he and Dennis would team up for, IMO the best safety duo in NFL history.
Steve is the man! My favorite bronco
Fantastic video Broncos! So deserving. Congrats Steve! The longer the wait the more special the moment is!
The Smiling Assassin #27
Definitely one of my all time favorites! 🧡💙☝🏾🐎🍊💪🏽
This is a proud moment for Broncos Country. Go Steve and Go Broncos!
Great job, Steve !👏 A true Denver Broncos football player! 💯
In 1989, i was in high school. I was a Broncos fan, and I was convinced that Louis Oliver was the pick. Why, because they said he ran a 4.3. forty. Nobody had mentioned Steve Atwater. I was pissed when they chose Atwater over Oliver. To quote an old Garth Brooks son. Sometimes I thank God, for unanswered prayers... Steve Atwater is arguably the best first round pick in the history of the franchise. We don't win SB XXXII w/out him, and he is a HOF player if there ever was one. Congratulations and thanks for the memories. :)
I remember watching the okoye hit and it is the greatest hit in BRONCOS history; okoye was never the same again after that, he was having nightmares of Steve I bet!
Thanks for the memories, Mr. 27!!
Congratulations Steve!!!
My favorite defensive player of all time.
Watching Atwater play is always awesome. Such passion and relentless energy and effort
Thanks for posting this I was hoping I’d get to see it
Steve has become my favorite Bronco of all time.

Back when it was smashmouth was just watching 97 super bowl and I'm packers fan
One of five first rounders in the 1989 draft in the HOF. Pretty good company.
My all time favorites athlete. #27
Outstanding.... mile high saalluute... yesir, well deserved my man. #49 hopefully not far behind with tht gold jacket action. With all due respect as well, can we get the #27 jersey retired and up with #18 and #7 in the South Stands. It would also be nice to get #30, #84, and #80 retired as well. Much love tho. GOD bless ya Mr. Atwater and blessings to all the rest of Broncos country
One word? IMPACTOR..
This dude is my favorite all-time defensive player. Much better than Ronnie Lott!!! Steve should be in the Hall of Fame!!!
THE MAN!
One of the best to ever do it🙏🏼👍
One of my favorite all time growing up as a kid and im 44 first time hearing him talk and im just amazed at what a beautiful Human he is 💙💙
SUPER COOL
Besides Elway, Atwater was my 2nd favorite Bronco.
This should have more views💯
Steve is a model athlete and person! I just love the guy and have been a fan since 1989. He was so deserving of Hall Of Fame induction, he should have been a first ballot though but at least they didn't keep him out, because that would of been an atrocity.
Thats a trip. He was drafted a few days before i was born
It's about time the Broncos are adequately recognized by the HOF. Took long enough. Here's hoping Wilson-Simmons/Surtain will have the same ring as Elway-Atwater and Manning-No Fly Zone. A+ human being and the embodiment of the Denver Broncos.
Dennis Smith should be in the HOF too
DB4L 🧡💙
Go Broncos
GO BRONCOS
imagine running an in route and you got atwater waiting at safety...😔
HOF 27 ATWATER BRONCOS People were always surprised Elway was not my favorite player.
27 4 Life as a bronco
🧡🧡🧡
123 BRONCOS 🏈
his is the only jersey i own
The Nuggets make me sad
If Steve played today he would be fined every game and probably suspended 💀
Why does he deserve it ? He was a hard hitting back I don’t remember anything special he did

Early onset Alzheimer's is truly a tragic situation to find yourself in. My sincere condolences.
I’m happy for Atwater but both Louis Wright and Randy Gradishaw might be more worthy.
at water should have gone in way before terrell davis
Atwater would not even be allowed to play in todays NFL. I wonder if he can even watch it.
