As said by Pipes already, the reverse flippers are only when you get "100 mass hysteria", and its not random, it's just flipped until there's one ball left. It also just seems to coincide often by the time you make the 3rd ball lock for Storage Facility Multiball "SFM", and it then over rides that feature, so you lose a lot of potential points as the Multiball is where you make the biggest Jackpot scores. It's nice when you hit SFM when the PKE level is low, say 20 or 40 to avoid this over ride. As for easy draining, I think the large flippers tend to send the ball mostly to safe places, and the ball save feature is quite generous so its not frustrating. You know you've miss timed the flipper if the ball just hits your flipper as its extended and you lose it in the centre drain. The magnets are strong in this too, so expect some funky drains that are not your fault sometimes, but that can also save you from bad play too, I think it saved me more than drained me over all. There's only one mode I've never seen, "We're ready to believe you!" I've had the feature lit but never activated it! Overall I think it shows how great this game is as your concentration and timing makes a massive difference to your play, And the action is so intense I feel like I've had a work out after a high scoring game on this table. Thanks for a terrific video, that's a great angle to show pinball tables.

Thank you! I needed to hear that multiball again. My college had this machine set up in the rec lounge a few years back on free play. By the end of the semester I had five or so achievements to my name and held the top three high scores. But then my college exchanged it for Ms. Pacman, and I haven't had the opportunity to play since. The few machines I have come across pale in comparison to this.

Wow thanks for talking about this monster of a machine. I just done a few rounds on Ghostbusters up at the Fort Wayne Pinball Hall. I put up 525mil on my third attempt tonight and i was exhausted by the end. Now im itching to get back up there to blow a roll of coin in this game.

I love that pinball machine

The seemingly accurate digital version is probably the best pinball game I've played. on that version it seems like ghost side bumper will punish you for holding the flippers up or panic juggling. After watching this I'm thinking the pinball arcade version redirects the ball toward the flippers after coming out along the wall of the ramps where slimer moves around. It totally curves left after sliding back down along the right side of those ramps

I cant wait 'til they release this on Stern Pinball Arcade on PS4. I really want to play this!

Yes they are. The main difference is the metal crossover ramp. I've played the pro extensively at my bowling alley and purchased the premium. Honestly the pro plays so much smoother, enjoy it. I sold my prem after 3 months, I hated it.

I can confirm this game is difficult in the wild. I had the pleasure of losing hard on this table almost immediately.

I played the virtual version of the LE once and it's just as difficult as the real one and it even emulated the hologram and the magnetic bumpers that made the ball look possessed. Btw, I wonder how many Coin-Op guys purposely set the table to difficult three ball.

At the time, the little green ghost wasn't known as Slimer. In fact, he wasn't known as anything yet.

i own an Xmen pro and it is a flying machine.. if you lift of the glas its full with bump marks. it even sometimes flys of my ramps

Stern pinball arcade was issued for ps4. This was included. Worth checking out.

The air balls are ridiculous tho, they will actually fly over your fluppers/out lanes, never in 40 years of pinball have i experienced the level of air balls that GB produces. Still absolutely love the game!!!!

Ya definitely a difficult game ... If I ever am luck enough to get one I would get longer flippers the gap is huge

This looks so much fun and I am considering getting one! The only thing I think directly sucks about PinBall is the fact that you can never get so good at it, that you can keep your balls from falling into the "pit" - it's out of your hands. All too often you'll see those balls heading straight down towards the pit and then you're dead no matter what. In those instances it's not about being quick on the flip-buttons, or being good at the game, cause no matter how fast you are, those flips can't reach certain balls from falling either way. That's an annoying fact from within the world of pin-ball machines, always have been. There should be a function/possibility to master as the gamer, something that would prevent any ball from falling, IF good/fast enough! :-) Am I alone on this?

Eventually you start learning how to avoid the rebounds and returns that put you most at risk for SDTM drains. And then after that, you start learning to slide the machine without tilting to break out of an SDTM...

So, if the ramps naturally return the ball right down the middle, between the flippers, (thereby denying you even the slightest chance or opportunity to save the ball), is the game really worth buying? Looks to me like it would be massively frustrating. Why would Stern create a machine that does this? Is the Non-Premium version any better in this regard?

so the game is quite difficult and all the scoops and a lot of the ramps really gun the ball straight for you, but on the pro at my local arcade the only one that shoots right at the center drain is the librarian scoop. And it’s not actually supposed to, it just hasn’t been maintained this week, I was just playing it in person today actually.

Is just me or the gap between the flippers is way too wide (open)?

@Dangan2020 that is called match, it is present in most Pinball machines nowadays, and basically after the end of a game (you lost all 3 balls plus any extra balls you might have gained), the game will take the last two digits of your score (say you got 1,657,890. It will take that last 90) and then randomly select a two digit number like 10, 20, 30, etc. If that random number is the same to your last 2 digits, you get a free game! Hope that explains it for you

This game is great, but it could've been even better. Imagine if Mr. Stay Puft slowly turned to the left and "walked" through "NY", then turned to the right and walked back to his original position. It's one of the most iconic scenes in the movie when that giant thing is slowly waking through the city. That would've been awesome.. and then you defeat him by "crossing 4 streams", which would be shooting 4 different targets, and you'd get some cool lighting effect and he's no longer illuminated or something. Or even if he tipped left and right as if he was slowly walking but without moving across the back. just something to get him moving. But it doesn't do that. The only thing I see move is Slimer. meh. I'm all about "living" toys.. interactive toys.

The only thing I hate, is the fact that when they have the quote "Yes it's true, this man has no dick!", they bleep the "dick" part out, I know that's on Stern Pinball Arcade/Pinball Arcade. Also, this is an awesome game of pinball and awesome video!!!

@@mattmay6710 I don't know why you and other people are having a problem. On my Macbook Pro, my iPhone Xs and my AppleTV, it is 4K. I recorded it in 4K, uploaded it in 4K and it plays back for me in 4K. Maybe this is a problem with certain devices? Or maybe it is with your subscription? I have a "red" or "premium" account on KZread, maybe that matters? I wish I could post a photo but when I go to my settings it offers 144, 240, 360, 480, 720, 1080 and 2160. Trying to brag about your position in a situation where you are wrong will only make you lose credibility, so you should refrain from such comments. Arrogance does not solve problems. This is a hardware or software issue on your end, either an incompatible device or maybe a restricted account. It could also be a low bandwidth restriction. I don't know, but this shit is 4K on my system.

A quick search revealed that some TV manufactures and playback devices will not allow 4K content from KZread in some situations. One issue could be that this is in portrait mode, which I agree is horrible, but for the pinball machine was the best solution for viewing on a mobile device and even if it were shot landscape, you would still just have the skinny table in the middle. So watching on a phone is probably best for this video.
