Squier Telecaster I dig.
Nice mix and Demo! Are you using stock Pres from the Scarlett ?
St170 a keeper. Little hissy in my limited playing with one but on a cab that won't matter at all
Any issues with phase as the 2 mics are placed at different distances from the speakers?

If they’re different distances I’m sure he has to go in and align them
With any figure 8 mic..... Dead center is ideal....
@3:50 - Oddly enough, you said you're positioning the ribbon with "the dust cap right in front of it, dead center".. but the picture you show has the microphone on the edge of the speaker. lol So which was it? The sound clip of the ribbon by itself also sounds like it was on the edge, so if it was dead center, I'd think there would be more sizzle and I didn't hear that, which means it had to be further away or on edge of the speaker. Weird.. did you forget what you did maybe? hahahha
Ribbon mics break easy so buying used is a crap shoot. Who has any knowledge as to how different a broken one sounds to a well working ribbon mic. THANX!!!
