I bought two and can honestly say they are absolutely the best budget mics I have ever bought. They are completely flat 20-20! I love doing mid side with them and an sm57 or 48... highly recommended, cheers!

Same here I always find the SM57 lacking on my dirty tones… like it’s missing some sound frequencies and too harsh in some mids and highs. I think your something with the Ribbon mic !!! Sounds good 🤘🔥🎸 would definitely be interesting to hear it mixed with the sm57. Can you spare an EVH cabinet 😂 🤷‍♂️ awesome review 👍

Thanks for this unboxing video. I’m definitely going to have to check this out because I’ve been trying to figure out a good microphone to capture the sound of my amplifier and translate it good to the recording playback.

I bought two on sale and they are my favorite cheaper mic I have ever bought. There may be better out there but these are smoking! Flat 20-20... it sounds just like the guitar compared to the sm57 that has a dull like character in comparison

The rule is that there are no rules, however, cardioid mics have been preferred for vocals for most people, figure 8 pattern is widely used for guitar amps and other instruments. These are very sensitive to air pressure, so, a direct current of air could mess up the mic and you would have to buy a new one.
