Stereoscopic 3D view of Earth rotation

Музыка

The video, captured from Google Earth, which unfortunately did not complete a full rotation, is a stereoscopic 3D video. Relax your vision so that the screen doubles, and adjust your vision until the two frames overlap in a third, middle frame. If done correctly, the middle frame will appear in 3D. It is easier on a smaller screen.
This is another experiment inspired by Steve Reich's Clapping Music. It involves a repeating rhythmic/melodic pattern that follows the circle of fifths with each repetition. The pattern shifts one eighth note with every harmonic change.

i have this weird eye ability where i can move one eye ball independently, which i just learned that its called "strabismus" but i have it totally under control. i had it since childhood. that makes it easy to see the images in this video in 3d. thank you for posting this, i never knew there exists this kind of videos.

Thanks! That’s cool. I got really in to making these sort of images a few years ago. If you hold two cameras side-by-side you can create this sort of picture.
