LOL! While it does look like a lot I feel like its pretty normal for the situation. We can't forget we lose 50-100 strands a day. My hair hadn't seen a brush in almost a month. YIKES lol smhhhhh! never again (I hope lol)

I'm a lazy *ss natural, so I try to do the bare minimum to my hair, but I wash it at least every 2-3 weeks, detangle on dry hair with tea tree oil, use clarifying shampoo, chase with a moisturizing conditioner, do a cool rinse to close the hair shaft, and use only detangler spray to stretch my curls while blow drying. I know everyone acts like heat is an enemy of the state and stole your grandma's purse, but using it literally stopped me from experiencing exactly what you just went through in this video. I dry my hair on high heat for 15 mins., then back it down to a cool shot for 5-10mins. Once done, I put it into a ponytail, curl rods, or a loose bun. If I'm feeling fancy, I'll add some soft set mousse to my detangled strands, do a magnetic roller set and sit under the bonnet dryer for an hour, with a 10 min cool shot. This routine may not be for everyone, but it makes my life so much easier, and keeps my hair healthy! 🥰

I LOVE IT & YOU LOL!!! Thanks for taking the time to share!!! Yes this community can be so judgmental at times especially when it comes to heat! Everyone preaches do what's best for YOU but are we standing on that? I'd forgotten how much easier my life can be with just a little extra heat!! Thanks for watching!! xox

@@MelissaDenise Yes, ma'am, and AMEN! 🙌🏿 The community loves to say "bLaCk wOmEn aReN't A mOnOliTh!!," then immediately attack the ones who deign to do ANYTHING that doesn't align with expectations, smh. The thumb thug skittle dittles love to argue their point, but I'm a heat-trained natural, my curls are healthy, and I had to have my hair stylist cut (not trim) my silk pressed hair back up to my waist so I can't "yoink" my hair by sitting on it. I searched for a stylist that specialized in the science of hair, so her info helped mine flourish, even though I only see her about 2-3 times a year. Always do what's best for you! Love you doll, and thanks for the response! 🥰🥰🥰

I just went thru this yesterday 🙄 after two weeks of a wash and go my hair was almost just as matted and tangled. I did a prepoo with the african pride prepoo before washing. I'm pretty sure detangling before wash day saved me some hair😂 but my fine strands were cussing me out‼️ I knew better🤦🏽‍♀️

I looked really crazy last week because i neglected my hair, i just wasnt in the mood for it. What works for me is the shea moisture manuka honey intensive hair mask by shea moisture, my hair was smiling after a good deep conditioner with my detangler brush. Also, the pre-shampoo by African Pride has done wonders for me. Glad for this video...that brush after detangling made me say ouch sis. I really do appreciate the video!!

This is why I cut my hair I got so tired of the tangling we have the same exact hair texture. I’ll try this method next time. My hair grows like weeds though it’s already growing back.

LOL. well I do have a lot of hair in general so I might lose more than the average person. I hadn't brush through my hair in almost a month and we lose 50-100 strands a day (most if not all of that fallout had no where to go so it's going to matte up). That alone is 350-700 strands in just a week....ugh lol! While it might look like a lot I feel like that amount was pretty normal for the situation. I appreciate your concern :)
