    That's great. S/o to The Dream for a great season. But it wasn't as efficient as Steph's season. How do I know? Look up Hakeem's PER (if they tracked that stat back then) and compare it to Steph's. Wanna bet it doesn't match up? And that's with better competition (anyone who says otherwise is simply nonsensical; NBA players are bigger, stronger, and faster than they were back then). Again, no disrespect to one of the greatest players ever. But c'mon, man. And "nothing else special"?? This guy CHANGED THE GAME, dude. The entire landscape of the league is different, mostly thanks to the Warriors offense, which is led by whom, by the way? Ah, yes. Wardell Stephen Curry III. -a Lakers fan (for those who would dare to accuse me of bandwagoning)

  • @moety2

    @moety2

    4 жыл бұрын

    Mac Xavier the rules changed the game. When they took out handchecking, who won the MVP the very next season? Nash. That forced the game to change into a speed game to advantage of that. The NBA said it themselves they wanted more scoring so they made it happened. That opened up the door for people like Curry. The game switched from post to spread the floor out which also makes it easier to drive. Hard fouls became technical fouls. That soften up the league real good. I don’t necessarily think it’s a bad thing. Players dont get injured like they did and last longer. I’m not blaming the players. It wasn’t their choice but if you think any player today would be as efficient as they are now if they switched the rules back, you’re kidding yourself. What would happen is the game would slow down and revert back into big men and posting. Lanes would be clogged up again, small guards like Curry wouldn’t go insides as much and if they did they would get hammered. So the smart thing would be inside outside. That’s the kind of effect rule changes do.

    I hate when people say the new fans are just bandwagons. Well you wouldn't like a player if he wasn't that good , the only reason why I like GSW is because of Stephen. He's really fun to watch but that doesn't mean I'm a bandwagon. A bandwagon is someone who just votes for the winner. A fan is someone who likes a team or a player for a reason. Just because we like Steph now doesn't mean we're bandwagons.

I mean it was like that anyways but watching them shooting all the time is going to get boring. You need someone to constantly take it to the hole. Like Lebron. Man, so many great clutch plays over the course of the season. Its a shame he couldn't turn it on when it mattered most. Still, massive respect, he gave us all something to look forward to during the regular season. Not since MJs Bulls were people from other sports(like me) pulled to the NBA. Where everyone else disregarded fans and rested or played bad, he and his team mates gave us top quality basketball right till the very end where they lost. American fans are just weird for not respecting that. I believe Lebrons title is as tainted as Stephs title was last year. Next year rematch for sure. Hopefully there will be no excuses then. Welp, time for the Premier League. Its going to be bloody good this season.

    Miss this team man.. most exciting team I’ve ever watched. I feel like if Durant wouldn’t have joined the warriors we’d be talking about curry being in the discussion as one of if not thee most dominant offensive players of all time.. we take his talent for granted. It’s a shame that we don’t get to see his full potential, now that he’s not required to do as much as he once did.

    Choked in the finals, but will finish his career with at Least 3 rings. LeBron only went 2-2 with his superteam. Curry ain't losing with Klay, Draymond, and Durant all in their primes.

    What makes people think Curry is gonna choke again ?? I don't understand people's thinking. People just REFUSE to accept that Curry is STILL one of the top 5 players in the WORLD (choked or not). And if u think LEBRON don't respect Curry...think again. Curry took Cleveland to 7 GAMES...INJURED. Just imagine if he was healthy. (no excuses made). As HARD as the west is, he made it to a 2nd straight Finals. Not easy at all. People better get ready because Curry improves every season. Imagine him BETTER than he was last season. I think he's gonna redeem himself this year (if he stays healthy). It's gonna be exciting to watch.

    Ok. I get it. You're not a Curry supporter. I understand. U see...I don't need to defend Curry. The LEAGUE respects him even if u don't. Keep hanging on to OLD NEWS that he choked. That's all u have, And he WAS back. Did he or did he not defeat Portland (while injured) ?? He knew he was still injured but he was letting the FANS know he wasn't gonna let injury keep him from helping his team win. And as u saw...he was successful. Curry has the heart of a WARRIOR...because a warrior will fight (to the death) even though wounded. That's what I admire most about him. Like when ISAIAH THOMAS scored 40 points in a playoff game for the Pistons with a HAMSTRING PULL...and won the game. That's what a WARRIOR does. U will only get to see Curry choke ONCE in a lifetime...and u saw it. Time to move on. It's a new season and he has more rings coming, So, get ready....ya dig ? :-)

Whether u like Golden State or hate em...u have to realize that as fans...we are witnessing something RARE & SPECIAL with a SUPER SQUAD like this. This kind of team doesn't come along often, so when u see something like this....just appreciate it. Because once it's gone...it's GONE. I love every second of every game the Warriors play because I know it's a rare BLESSING to be alive to witness something so special. Ya dig ?

    When people talk about the last two seasons they forget really in all fairness Cavs and GSt should have finished with 1 title each out of those finals regardless - just the other way around. A fully fit Cavs in 2015 would have beaten GSt, and a fully fit and non-suspended GSt would have beaten the Cavs in 2016. All ended fair in the end. Hopefully this season we can see both sides healthy for the finals - if they get there.

    +off no he didn't, he injured his knee from the rockets series, he wasn't doing the step back 3 no more, he really needs to fix tht knee, also how can curry play if the refs keep calling bad calls on him, he was always in the foul trouble

    I'm not a Golden State fan, but watching this guy play--especially during the 2015/16 season--was just incredible. I don't know how it's possible for people not to enjoy watching him play.
