If I were registered democrat I would vote Colbert, but I just switched from independent to republican just for Ron Paul. Bring back the troops now! Stephen Colbert for Vice Prez! Seriously though he said in the Larry King interview that he would consider governor in South Carolina before seriously attempting the White House, or something like that. That would be awesome.

So sad but so true. I agree though, Colbert would be a truly great President. The man actually knows what he's talking about - and isn't afraid to say it; and thus, I expect he'd actually be willing to do something about all the problems we're facing. The only one actually running close to that imho, is Kucinich; and I doubt he has a chance.

No, there's nothing wrong with him. The man plays a character that mocks Republicans. That's not even what's wrong - it's that he mocks politics and makes a joke (hell, a career) out of the subject.
