I think fans point makes sense. Although it’s called mandatory mini camp it’s really no more important than OTA’s it’s only mandatory because they want to see players during the off season to make sure they are still fit. Aaron was at all the voluntary OTA’s so going to minicamp really wouldn’t do much for him seance he has been there the whole time. To me it’s not a big deal but I’m a Steelers fan so if they suck I could care less

You use camp to get in sync with your receivers, offensive system and players. The same issue russel Wilson had when he first got to Denver. Every game matters in the nfl and if they lose cause their offense is unstable during the first few weeks, it’ll immediately point back to this.

Nah dan is right. First Rodgers has showed up to all voluntary practices. But more importantly, Rodgers is THE reason the jets locker room has been able to rally back after their atrocious seasons. The culture is there, as in the guys are bought in and theres no like stefon diggs business on twitter. On top of that, people dont mention that saleh and joe douglas also draft players that are smart and have been leaders elsewhere. The lockerroom is filled with a bunch of highschool and college captains and leaders, not just good players.

It’s just hypocrisy at it finest when Aaron Rodgers says anything else that isn’t about getting this team better is a distraction and he’s just setting a terrible example for the rest of his team. This team hasn’t won anything yet. He can do as he pleases but god forbid someone does the same thing. He’s like “do as I say not as I do”.

Nobody cares if Rogers misses Minicamp. Everyone cares if Rodgers makes it through an entire season Healthy and performs well. End of Story.

FUNNY....nobody said one word when Tom Brady took 11 days off DURING ACTUAL TRAINING CAMP PRACTICES!!!! AND NUMBER 2, how many top 10 defenses did Aaron Rodgers have at Green Bay and how many did Tom Brady have?! THE ONE TIME Aaron had a top 10 defense, he won the Super Bowl!!! Now look up Brady's defenses during his career. We wont even get into special teams.... AND NUMBER 3, if the minicamp was SOOOOO important, why did the jets cancel it last year and knock it down to 2 this year. Rodgers missed a TOTAL OF 36 FIRST TEAM SNAPS on those 2 days. DOES ANYONE BELIEVE THIS MATTERS COME SEPTEMBER!!!

What many people have to remember is that if u play for the Jets, u have to publicly say good things about Rodgers. What they say privately is probably completely different

It sounds like the Jets need Rodgers far more than the other way around. This double standard should desist no matter who is the player.

The media making too much about nothing. Rodgers informed the team he wouldn't be there and they said they were okay with it but he would be fine. Rodgers was there at involuntary mini camp the past few months and nobody says anything about that. His teammates don't care so it's not a big deal. The media just giving Rodgers a hard time because they don't like Rodgers.
