I just love the Way the Bass player looked At Stephen after his solo. This is music and improvisation at it’s highest level. Beautiful.

At 1:09, Rachmaninoff would have loved hearing this Jazz rendition of the melody from the 3rd mvt. of his 2nd Symphony. His music is now in public domain since 2014, so there are no copyright problems.

Beautiful. The guitar/trumpet/bass trio has a uniquely graceful character. Reminds me of that old Freddie Hubbard recording of "Here's That Rainy Day" with George Benson and Ron Carter.

The intro was just gorgeous. So original, so well suited to the tune, yet it still blows you away with that flawless technique. After that the tasteful comping and the beautiful medling of the sounds of the flugelhorn and guitar. And the solo.. Gosh, never was a huge Jesse fan, now I'm officially sold.

always been fan of jesses killer solos but his responsiveness comping for the bass solo, in this case, is also amazing.
