Steph Curry is the Greatest Shooter of All Time

Спорт

There have been a lot of players who been really good at shooting the basketball. Steph Curry is one of them. In this video, I make the case that he's the greatest shooter of all time... (among other things).

What was crazy was, there was a play early in the game where Curry got passed Westbrook's awful defense, and Westbrook came back to block the shot but landed on Curry's ankle and Curry couldn't move. Went to lockerroom and I had been worried without CUrry, Warriors wouldn't beat OKC. Then he came back and perform elite, outshining Kevin Durant, Westbrook or Klay Thompson to get the Win. Most influential player of this generation.

My first NBA game I ever sat down and actually watched, was that game on February 27th, 2016. I remember exactly where I was and who I was with too. I remember watching Steph Curry sink in three after three, wondering "is this normal? do players normally drain in this many threes?" As that GSW vs OKC game being my first game to sit down and watch, I enjoyed every moment of it, especially that final three pointer from 35+ feet for the win. I immediately became an NBA fan, as well as a Stephen Curry fan that very day.

I agree with everything but one statement. At the time that okc shot might’ve been the most arrogant, but I don’t know that we’ll ever see anything more disrespectful than dames shot to end okc’s era. Looking back though, a lot of parallels between the two. Poor okc...

I think the Warriors having a timeout and not using it makes it the "arrogant" shot out of the two. But damn when your that good it's hard to not be like imma just shoot n score real quick.

Great narration, amazing formation of sentences and the background score was subtle but not drowned. You my guy just earned my subscription. I have been a short term basketball fan (started watching it in 2015 as that's when NBA first started telecasting games in my country and i didn't have a smartphone to watch it online) and this small docu-essay gave me a very good insight on how amazing the 2015-16 NBA season truly was. The 73-9 Warriors, Kobe Farewell Game and Cavs 3-1 comeback. amazing

Excellent video--thank you very much for making this. Curry is the reason I came back to the Warriors and NBA basketball after Cohan scrammed the We Believe team--I attended one of those games, and thought that I'd seen the best things were likely to get, you know, again. I'd been a fan since I was a kid in 1986, watching a 2nd-year Chris Mullin shoot the lights out, and after decades of Chris Cohan f*cking up my beloved team, I was done. Until 2012-13, when my brother called and told me that I should check out this Steven Curry kid--one game, and I was hooked. By 2013-14, I was convinced that Curry was going to be a HoFer; by the start of 2014-15, I was convinced he'd take us to the Finals. I've watched nearly every game since, and as long as he's in the league, I will keep watching.

The Warriors got me when they played the Spurs on the same season they went 73-9. I was an arrogant Spur, thinking there's only one team that could somehow finesse a win over the insane threes that Curry and co. were taking, and that's Gregg Popovich. All the man could do was prevent them from getting a 100 points on their dome

About 16 minutes in you make a great point about Steve Kerr. How incredibly fortunate for us and for Steph that the Warriors management hired Steve Kerr. How fortunate for us the Steve Kerr decided to coach. He might be the real catalyst of change, with his knowledge of the game, his past experiences with great coaches, combined with his first-hand skill. It was only fitting that he got to give that knowledge to the splash bros, literally game changing
