@@ADMNtek It's pure atmosphere, the game actually lets you feel like an actual person. Not just some AI that we're supposed to magically live through. I got chills from this track and the earlier one when you get the guitar for Stepan and play it with him on the train.

This part of the game made me tear up something fierce!

Metro Exodus was made perfectly. Going away from a run and gun game to a fantastic journey with many friends and a family along the way. Literally sitting down on my chair listening to Stepan play. I felt their presence as if I was there. Looking around to all the characters and Anna, I felt a sense of being with family. Knowing that everywhere you go, there is something that will kill you yet the peace is brought back on the Aurora. By far one of my favorite game. 10/10 highly recommend

I think he is lost in the tought of Anna being close to death, He's lost in tought, sadness and willingnes to give everything to change that, I don't think He's having flashbacks

i randomly found that guitar too and i was like "neat," and then it completely changed how i perceived Artyom's interactions with the gang on the train

I hope our western friends enjoyed this song as we did ^_^ This train is on fire and it`s time we come back home.

Eveb though I dont speak Russian I appreciate the song being in its native language and not a half assed dub. Reading the lyric's it sounds like a pretty beautiful song.

Orangy Pteco As a native speaker I think that it is very hard to do an interpretation of Russian songs,poems etc,because every word has its own double-meaning and everyone can think about his own.For example,it has a political context-Russian political system is on fire,if u understand what I mean)))

Western spy here, I love this song, it’s like a metaphor for not only the Metro dwellers but the Slavic peoples in general. “Our people have been born to the sound of marches, we have been scared with the jails but now it’s time for us to rise to our feet for we are home, we’re finally there!”

Gladly I’ve played all of the metro games and it’s safe to say I never had a dull moment. Metro has affected me so much and the series became my third favorite game I’ve ever played.

I sat here for a good 15 minutes with a huge smile. This is what makes video games art

This is the best single player game I ever played. I often think back on this awesome train adventure.

Going back to this part after finishing the game with the good ending gets me all weepy

Haha “Dual wielding pistols!” XD Also, I love how they had him sing in Russian even when playing in English. Seriously, the chemistry that this game instills on the characters is so great. To an extant that to me, it’s better than Mass effect and The Witcher. The story is just so pure.

It is because this game a part of slavic mentality invluding all details in the game. This song is one classic Russian rock songs. I think people abroad like it, because it is different ME, Withcher. More countries develop games, more interest we have. . Also ending is usual for our books and films, no usual happy end as in Holywood. Greetings from Ukraine! :)

This game is awesome but how can u compare with witcher 3 ? Witcher 3 is veery big open word with full of stories and role playing, and vast combat types.But metro exodus more like a great, touching movie that you can play the shooting part.A game that wanna tell you a one great story.Thats my opinion just want to say it :D Both are one of the best games at 2010s anyway

@@TheClearStalker I see that partially, I started them off in English but I started falling in love with the slavic ways and such. So honestly Metro and Stalker got me into learning Russian and such. If you like these games also just a fyi for anyone who reads this, try Chernobylite. It’s not as high quality but still a fantastic game.

This was that one time when I couldn't stop smiling and truly felt in touch with the characters

Just the ambience of The game is just enough to keep me playing it over and over. And also learn russian.

The world of Metro is a hauntingly pleasant place.

I had a tear in my eye, man this gave me so much chills ... probably on of the most emotional moment of the game

Seeing the colonel looking down was a very powerful moment for me when i was at that point in the game. Good job developers.

Reminder: this is a scene from a world where you get haunted when trolling through dead cities. Just saying.

This scene really brought me into the game. Whenever I rewatch this scene I still remember the feeling I had when this scene play out in my play through. Maybe because it was also at afternoon and the weather was kinda similar in real life at the time when I got to this scene. This scene is really heart warming specially in an apocalyptic games.

The way I started jamming out to this as soon as it started playing. I never wanted to get up and go to the next area. When I realized you can sit down and listen to it a second time this game instantly became my favorite narrative shooter of all time

Heart warming. Watching this gave me a smile close to the one I had in Kaer Morhen drinking scene in Witcher. RIP Colonel.

I love this game. If you don't get the guitar then you really miss out on some stuff

This should be released as a standalone cover of this song x

Сделали бы английские субтитры с русской озвучкой, разве иностранцам так не интересней было бы?( по большей части я про англоязычников). А то русский акцент даже мне больно слушать.

@@LPrussia07 Наша российская тоже так себе по качеству вышла, прям чувствуется листок с текстом. Эмоционально вообще не привязался к игре - озвучка в предыдущих частях лучше была. Однако по качеству игры минуя озвучку - это лучшая игра серии.

Playing Metro Exodus in 2020 atm first time from the Steam Sale purchase cos I'm a skinflint. Stepans' performance was a real highlight! So much I just wanted to hang around the train and casually take in the ambiance.

This is one of the moments when you sit and think that slicing throats of those bandits to get that guitar was really worth it.

i’m on my first playthrough and i had to hear this a couple more times. i shed a tear, one of the best games i’ve ever played.

I love this song. I love this game. I had an amazing time playing through it. although it was annoying at times and glitchy. I will still give the game a 10 out of 10.

one of the few game series that actually made me emotional

this game has some real life lessons and the one i liked the most was when krest said that he met so many people to the point that he thought good people are no more and suddenly he found a bunch of them and had the chance to travel with them👍

i wish there was a clean version of this song. hm maybe someone could pilfer the game files for it.

This is a beautiful game with a big beautiful story 💕😍😍😍 I love this game so much! 🎉

That they chose a resistance song by the anti-Soviet Akvarium to be played by Stepan at this touching moment shows the way Miller's group works. It's not the top-down, obedience at all costs of the Soviet system, but the realisation that the controlling methods of the areas they've visited are not working. Whether it's the Reds or the Fascists of the Metro, or the bandits or even the Forest Children with their warped Scouts' Honour, none of them are treating the visitors with dignity. There's no lever to push that will solve the problems of the Metro's enforced communications jam and stupid factions, or the crumbling dam in the valley. The faith of the swamp people is misguided. Might is not right. What is left? Stepan and his bluff manner belies some of the most human moments in the game. Perhaps some of the current Russian leadership would do well to listen to Akvarium.
