    that first example you played is litterally the most beautiful thing I've ever heard on the keys. I love it

    I loved what you played starting at 15:30. And that piano sound is stunning. I appreciate you doing a demo of this software. So many of the sounds are super inspiring. I am signing up for the full-access subscription.

    Very nice to hear you playing. Seems to be a quite expressive playable piano sample, getting bright in the higher velocity range, as it should be. Sam, please do me a favour and tell me, what MIDI- controller keyboard you use. This one seems to work well an FAST. There are so many, that are too slow in sending chords to the DAW without tearing them apart. As I can see, ROLAND is the best company under this aspect, but I could not test all Keyboards on the market.

    So, I've been messing around with Pianoverse and feel like I'm fighting some tuning issues. I guess that makes it authentic, but some of these pianos sound sour in some keys. I've also found a few times when I'll be playing along with tracks, and the piano is out of tune with the track -- but stuff from other manufacturers sounds perfect with the track. Have you noticed anything similar in your experience?

    Really enjoyed the demo. I already have a lot of vst pianos but I have the impression these are really next level. What do you think?

    Almost every piano I've played in the past year has been exceptionally recorded. Preference really comes down to how they treat it or what special presets they have that are interesting. I haven't played a bad piano since 2021. I won't say which one, but I remember it haha

    "Robot assisted" = First heard that with the Hammers and Waves library. So I'm always cautious of marketing hype anyway, but anything you play is going to sound as good as it can sound.

    Great playing and review. What is your opinion between this and Keyscapes?

  • @SamTheBeardGuy

    @SamTheBeardGuy

    They're just different. Keyscape is a load and go piano, it's heavily produced on the back end. A lot of other pianos are not, so it's up to personal preference

    Very beautiful sounding pianos, but it sounds like its missing some layers across the velocity spectrum. Maybe, its the velocity curve?

    can't seem to find how many samples per note

    found the answer on forum : Layers can range between 14 and 20 due to our system's calibration of each individual key thus the amount of layers depends upn the dynamic response of each key during the sampling process. Each of these detailed piano virtual instruments in Pianoverse contains over 7,000 samples per piano. Also note, each of the fine pianos sampled for Pianoverse has its own dynamic response and our system has been created with the intent and purpose to best preserve this fundamental detail.

    Similar, different. Keyscape is super produced, load and go, this one has a more raw feel to a lot of these pianos. Personal preference.

    Great playing and review, Sam! Let me tell you something important God loves you! God loves us ! God wants us all to be saved! And let's go to the knowledge of the "Truth" God wants to save us from eternal damnation, which we all deserve because of sin, who entered the world through Adam, and death entered through sin, and thus death passed to all human beings, therefore, we are all “Sinners” But God's Love was so great for us, that he sent his only Son (Jesus Christ), gave him to this world, to die and rise again for all of us! So that everyone who believes in Jesus Christ does not go to eternal punishment, but has “Eternal Life! “ Jesus Christ came to call sinners to “Repentance! “ And, whoever believes in Him, has “Eternal Life! “But whoever refuses to believe in Jesus Christ, the wrath of God remains on him. Then, as through the transgression of Adam, condemnation came to all human beings, in the same way, through the justice of Jesus Christ, justification of life came to all human beings! For all of us who believe in “The Only Savior of the world! The Only Mediator between God and us! The Lord Jesus Christ! “ All of us who trust in Him; we have “Eternal Life! “ Let's all read the Word of God! Mainly the Gospels; Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John, and let us pray to God, our Heavenly Father, every day… God loves you! God loves us! To Him alone be the Glory forever! Amen! How to be saved? Believe in Jesus Christ that He died for your sins and resurrected in the 3rd day > Repent of your sins and follow Jesus > Get Baptized in the Holy Spirit and with water! Biblical Source: Acts 10:34-35 / 1 Timothy 2:3-6 / Romans 5:12 / John 3:16 / Luke 5:32 / Matthew 16:21 / 1 Corinthians 15:20-22 / John 3:36 / Romans 5:18 / Acts 4:12 / John 6:47 /_|_|

    Yes and no. Something can sound good by itself, but we can also have some fun and be creative and mess around with the sound of it.
