i think 3 hours would do that actually, we adapt to our environments pretty quickly, so walking out of that will temporarily put you off balance on a flat surface

no, because they're basically walking up and down a hill; the gravity works the same inside a box, so outside of the box they would have no trouble at all, they would just think everything looked really fucked up

they had a furnished version of this in a museum i frequented when i was a kid. i saw it when i was around 3 or 4 and it really freaked me out. i thought the gravity in the room actually changed, it was really cool

Yes! It really did look this disorienting when we were in the room. I felt a little sea sick actually.

You have to uninstall gravity.exe first, and then proceed to delete and install brain.exe again. If successful, brain.exe should start running smoothly again. * if you don't succeed, try updating brain.exe after doing all of the above.

actually there was a small house made like this when I took a trip up in ohio. I got sick and threw uo because it was so disorienting and we had to make our way up to the top and back down.

It only looks odd in video because the camera is oriented with the room and not with the person in the room, otherwise the person would look normal and the room would look angled

I experienced something similar to this one time walking on a donkey trail. The trail ran parallel to the side of a hill. The majority of the trees grew perpendicular to the hill so you felt as if you were walking leaning toward the upper side of the hill when really you were walking upright

The way this interview is structured is more disorienting than the work itself.

I actually experienced a mild version of this when moving houses. We were moving furniture into a house and the moving van was parked on a slope, so walking in and out of the back of the truck to move things was disorienting because the whole place was tilted.

There was actually a room just like this in a now closed park called AstroWorld in Houston, TX. The attraction was called The Wacky Shack and it was even better than this exhibit because it had different rooms. In one there were billiard balls “rolling up” on boards instead of down. In another room there was a faucet with water “flowing up” instead of down. Each room had something peculiar and each had a person working in it that would interact with the crowds, encouraging participation in the exhibit. This was back in the 80’s 😎 fun times

That room would be so cool and in my opinion (although never having been there) totally worth being visited.

There was a fake kitchen room that was tilted, just like the room in the video, that I used to step in at the Science and Technology Museum in Ottawa long ago as a kid. Luckily the room is still there after the museum got renovated. It was a very memorable experience.

I never experienced anything like this in one of those rooms, I stood at an angle and knew I was standing at an angle, I percieved the room as being slanted, and the floor was a slope, which it was.

Anyone seen the game show "slideshow"? It's so good, I think it might be Australian. Teams have to act out a script in a set that slowly begins to tilt, but the camera makes it look like it's always upright

Been in an angled room like that before. it didn't feel weird in the way they describe at all.

Well. This is why they have an horizon instrument in airplanes. Since the cokpit environement doesn't change, it becomes hard for the pilots to evaluate if they don't have an actual visual horizon clue.

I still don't get it.

Just smell it the room itself is tilted, and the camera inside is tilted same as the room, if you go inside you try avoid falling so you stand upright relative to gravity, but since you are also in the room, you perceive them the slinky behaving weird. sorry for bad english
