Come design a wedding bouquet with me! 💐
If you’re looking for no-foam floral design tips, on the hunt for how to price wedding flowers for profit or just wondering how much to charge for a wedding bouquet, this tutorial will help.
If you’re looking for bridal bouquet pricing with roses, a pricing tutorial for professional florists, or real florist pricing, I’ve also outlined the recipe and pricing below. 😍
Here’s the final recipe I’d go for a standard-size wedding bouquet:
* 8 x 50cm or 60cm rose
* 6 x carnation
* 3-4 x lisianthus (cut off the foliage and the buds, cut into individual blooms + peal petals back if that’s your thing)
* 5 x mini carnation
* 3-4 x babys breath
* 2-3 x feverfew
* 5 x stock
* 2 -3 x spray rose
When it comes to pricing, the wholesale flower + sundries amount comes to (including the ribbons, chicken wire, tape + vase for transport) $86.
Be sure to check your local wholesaler for updated pricing.
Using the Industry Standard equation (Wholesale x 3.5-4 + 30-50%), the retail price for this bouquet is between $450 - $515 + Tax + Delivery ✨

    Hey can you do a video on where or how to source your ingredients for the best quality? My wholesaler is pretty pricey and supplies the whole state for floral but my pricing seems to be to high for customers even when I offer no labor costs in exchange for photos I can use on my website. I'm beyond frustrated with this problem.

    One thing that's been really helpful to learn is that when our customers are comparing our prices to other florists, it's a sure sign they don't really see a difference between what we offer and what someone else offers...and they're always gonna just go with the cheapest option. This is where your brand comes in, so you can change the argument away from price and create a clear point of difference and educating your clients on what makes you offer more awesome (cause it is!) 🤩

    Why would you not cross your stems? Because of the chicken wire? Why is crossing a fail?

    Some florists are super particular about the 'look' that not-crossed stems create. That and went I went to flower school, it was like hammered into my brain that the right way to do it was to have a perfect spiral 🤪
