Step-by-Step Watercolour Abstracts with Yummy Texture!

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

Watercolour and texture-truly a heavenly combination! What's even better is that most techniques don't require much. In fact, chances are you already have items around the house that can create interesting effects. In today's video, I'll share a few of my favorite techniques while demonstrating the creation of two mixed-media mini-abstracts.

Absolutely my favourite artist to follow, I shall treasure this video. I have done a couple of your courses and the latest one appears to be fantastic, but, being a pensioner, my funds are limited. I now feel totally motivated to do this project here, THANK YOU SO MUCH LIVELY LAURA...B.K. UK🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰

This has sparked a desire to just play. It must have been the straw blown drips. I doubt have many watercolour paints, but i do have a large set of gouache which I can make a bit more fluid. 😊 Thank you for sharing. Im watching my newly purchased Melting Pot before playing to get me into the wanting to play mood. I am doing the 61 day ICAD challenge & am aiming for simplicity as i haven't created art since December.

Thanks Laura. Really great ideas. Is your gold leaf real or imitation? I can't remember if there is a good argument for buying the more expensive one. Thanks again x Nell.

Why are you leaving your brushes in a jar of water? I would not want to damage my brushes by doing this. Some of my brushes are 15 years old or older, never been sitting in a jar of water for 15 seconds and they are still in great condition.
