This video was specifically on the cut kit process, here is another where we install the speakers to the cut kit and install the bag wiring kzread.info/dash/bejne/gptm0dyjacm6e5M.html
When you use this kit you have to make sure you have original Harley-Davidson lids if not you have to do a little extra cutting I know because I have Advanblack lids and made the cuts correctly and still had to make modifications but it worked out just fine and had to modify my speakers a little bit but it is a great kitkzread.info/dron/hGJTD_vGuw4U5pkAs5C-zQ.html

I have used this kit with aftermarket lids, never had an issue as long as it did not have previous speaker provisions
Nice video… But it’s cheaper to just buy a whole new set of bags

There are many advantages to cut kits over replacement lids. They use less bag space, angles the speaker toward the rider instead of straight up, way more water tight and gaskets, no need to paint the lid
Seems like the look isn't that clean. Not a fan of how the grill sticks out. But for a simple cut and screw in, you can't really beat this
