The specs say this is a 200 w 4 channel built in amp, class A/B & 2 ohm. Does that mean I need to use 2 ohm speakers or can I use 4 ohm?

Purchased one of these units for my 2019 Road glide from Volunteer Audio. Radio arrived all ready to go. Easy install, was done in a couple of hours. Couple questions. Can I change the gauge color and secondly, if I wish to turn the radio off while I am riding, how does one do that?
There is no power button, gauge color is not changeable but which gauges are displayed is
Jay I think some of us that have the MMR not the Bluetooth one not MMR2 but the regular MMR need a video for the update for the speedometer that's on the home screen taking the fairing off connecting the micro USB with the laptop connected and downloading that software on there
You must unplug it and then connect it to a computer, I have videos on the process already

Jay, I just purchased the Stage 6 Hertz with the 1000 w amp. I run the HDHU.14Si head unit right now while I wait on my V2 to ship. To get the most out of my system. Should I still flash the bike to 6 Speaker 2 amp to get the most out of the system. Right now it is flashed to Stage 2 Rockford Fosgate with tour pack speakers.
I believe god gives us opportunities and put people in our path for reasons. I worry about the things I can control and I dont worry about things I cant control. I believe I wouldn’t be the man I am today if he hadn’t. I haven’t had an easy life. But I have lived my life doing things for the right reasons. God Bless you and your family Jay.
I did the stage 6 Hertz with the 1000 w amp. I couldn’t believe how much the performance and sound changed from the Rockford Fosgate stage 2. It was a day and night difference. The Hertz system blew me away.
Any reason why they didn’t tie the day/night mode of the radio screen to the backlighting on the gauges?
VA tech support is very good. I had some issues with my HDHU14+ on a recent long road trip. Called them when I got back, and they said to ship it in to them and they’d get me taken care of. Very grateful they are being so helpful and looking forward to getting up and going again soon. I’m already missing the road 😂.
Still having some issues with my V2 and the sound quality. Have a great 4th of July I'll call tech support tomarrow. Keep up the great videos Jay

Hey guys. I have a question. I recently bought a used HD 2018 Ultra with the Soundstream HDHU 14SI in it. For some reason the Sirius XM and Android Auto buttons are grayed out and I can't use them. I've factory reset the radio and still doesn't work. Any idea what is causing this and how to fix it?

I received the radio and was quite surprised with the key lanyard and the Patriot Bible. That is awesome!!!!! Thank you very much. The radio was straightforward to install, I did connect a cam on the rear but the radio, it's not being recognized it, says " no camera detected". ???

@@volunteeraudio I'll recheck my connections. Perhaps there's no power, I did give power to the so-called reverse cam activation wire, the ir lights (in the cameras case are white) but nothing on screen. Will keep you informed,....God Bless .

So you add speaker pods to a detachable king-tour pack right? What aftermarket speaker pods did you use or can you suggest some good aftermarket speaker pods that will fit most of your speakers? I would like some that I don’t have to modify to get a 6 1/2 inch in.
If you have a 1998-2013 style king tour pack I suggest the hog tunes pods, you will need to modify them for a 6.5 but they are the best option
I just installed my V2 with Hertz speakers and I am impressed. Just need patience working with the speaker pods. The clarity is amazing! No amp required, loud enough for me.

I have updated to Version 2.4, but the screen still says firmware version 02.30. Is that normal?
It normally says 2.4 once complete, the mrr says 2.3

I am ordering the precision power 6.5” for 13 Roadglide Ultra tourpack. Question I have is. There or more than 4 mounting holes for the new speaker. Do I just drill the new holes in with supplied hardware or just use the factory 4? Thank you
We use 4 screws but we do not use the factory rubber grommets and bolts, screw directly into the pod plastic. The factory hardware can pull out and you will lose a speaker while riding

Does anyone know why my iPhone has no internet connectivity when connected to CarPlay? Connect to CarPlay, attempt to access the internet via any means - and no connection until I disconnect CarPlay
Your phones WiFi and Bluetooth are both used while connected wireless to CarPlay, you will pull internet through cellular data, not WiFi

I replaced my 2017 Road Glide radio with a factory radio from a special. I visited my local harley dealer and had the radio re-flashed. I have power but, no sound. Please help
You may have a factory amplifier that it needs to be flashed to, we sell great aftermarket options that have no need to be flashed
Just purchased 2024 rg I have 48 miles on it and the fault light is on the ECM code is p069300 tried to clear it but would not let me will call the dealer tomorrow….🤷🏼♂️

@@johnnycarvalho2538 the factory radio does not create any audio output, it uses an a2b digital communication to the factory amp, you must keep the stock amp or use an a2b interface. Volunteer audio is the first to have the interface and we expect to start shipping them later this month

@@OMG_Clowns you have left a factory connector unplugged, or left a needed module out, on 2020 models there is a telematics module that must remain plugged in
