Very helpful! I’ve tried twisting my sons hair about 5 times & it never comes out exactly how he likes it. His shrinkage is REAL & after spending HRS twisting it he would take it down the next day … 😑 I’ll try blow drying first ( GENIUS IDEA! ) to retain his length & hope for the best! Thanks for giving all the details in your video! 👍🏾

For how long does it last and what do you do to keep it fresh for the time it lasts.....it looks really nice by the way....I want to do it in my son's hair

This can last at least 2 weeks. I always recommend tying it down or use a satin pillow but honestly my son never follow recommendations. The longest he’s kept his hair up is 3 weeks and then he’ll wear it as a twist out. So 2 styles in one

Any tips to reduce the tips from coming unraveled?

Hi! As I get closer to the ends I add some sort of twisting butter /cream to the hair and twist as far down as I can. Once I do that I twirl the hair around my finger. An example is at the 7:37 mark of the video. Also, if your hair doesn’t curl using that method you can also take some leave in conditioner (or water) with a twisting cream only spraying it towards the end and following the same direction as above. The very last option that I could recommend would be to use black elastic bands on the ends of the hair. I don’t like rubber bands but if the two methods above don’t work you could go with this option. Use elastic band not rubber bands; rubber bands tend to break the hair off. Let me know if this helps
