Hi!!! How do you dry the couch?
I just got into flipping sofas thanks to your videos. I have a stain I am unsure how to get out. Might be like an auto grease of some kind. It’s a pottery barn William sonoma and I got it for free. Great condition except that stain across the back. I tried zep carpet shampoo, dawn soap, drill brush, extract. But still the stickiness is there a bit. Better but not great. Would like an opp to hear some solutions. Thanks.

Try straight isopropyl alch, undiluted that honestly does wonders for most stains and agitate with a cloth, I’ve had 95% of all stains after extraction.
Yo I bought like 5 of those shavers because of your video lol Keep up the content bro -Ivy Flip Member Ty :)

You do good work. If you’d be willing to share, how many hours per week average, do you work this hustle??

Personally at the moment I am at like 15-20hrs a week. But when I am real active with used couches its about 30-40 hrs a week! But tbh i gotta do a better job tracking how many hours i put in.
good job:)

Is that just a regular shock vac that you use? Or where did you get it?
@dontaefernandez
Жыл бұрын
Yes regular shop vac. Only thing that doesnt come with it is the clear extractor head. to get the clear extractor you gotta order it on Amazon, but you must know your shopvac tube size to make sure the attachment/extractor fits

@@dontaefernandez Thanks bro the brissel pro bro be taking long 😂 do you also need to get a different filter for it?
@dontaefernandez
Жыл бұрын
@@jarradgasquoine7575 for the shopvac you can actually just remove the filter if you are using it to extract couches! Keep the filter in if you are just using it to vacuum. I have mine removed and I can still do both
Might be a dumb questions but do you zip up the zippers on the cushion cover when you wash them? I just washed some and it broke one of the zippers :( so wondering what I did wrong.
@dontaefernandez
7 ай бұрын
Yes typically I do! Sometimes zippers go bad though and break :/ if you have a local alterations biz or seamstress biz near you they will repair it for $25-$40

Hey what chemicals do you use because I keep staining my couches with white spots.
@dontaefernandez

I like zep carpet shampooer. Make sure to follow instructions on how much to mix with water because too much cleaning solution can cause those white spots
hi handsome , this is a 1st. where did you get the fabric shavers?

How long it takes to dry?

hi handsome have you considered using the new 12 Gallon 5.5 PHP STEALTHSONIC QUIET VACUUM from dewalt?
How long did it take u to clean that couch?

This one took me about 3hrs total to get it in a condition that i felt good about. Which is a lot longer than most Couches take to get in good shape but this one needed love 😂
Hey Dontae I have a brand new Luxe cream 2 piece sectional with chaise I’ve been trying to sell for over a month. It retails for $1500. It’s a small couch, but I had it listed for $995. Nobody seems to want it and I offer free delivery. What do you think a fair price would be? The couch is only 3 months old and barely used. Measurements Width: 95” Depth: 67” Height: 40”
@dontaefernandez
Жыл бұрын
If its been up more than a month than Id drop the price. Should sell in that 750-850 range easily if its a great condition 2pc cream sectional. Pricing things half of retail seems to be effective! If a couch is not selling my goal is to sell it asap by dropping price. I Try to value weekly cashflow more than trying to get asking price on every couch

@@dontaefernandez Wow thanks for the reply Dontae! I actually just reposted it for $650 on offer up so I’ll see what happens. I still have it for $995 on Facebook but I’ll probably change that as well.

Hey Dontae! Can we connect? I just started couch flipping, I also made a couple pitches to some business owners and now I have exclusive rights to any of the couches that come their way the don’t need. I flipped a Friheten I got from one of them for $550 all profit (other than the truck I rented, but now I have a truck). I’d love to exchange knowledge! Thanks!
