This video was a lifesaver. The instructions that came in our Home Depot kit are horrible and we’ve been scratching our heads for 2 hours trying to figure this damn thing out. Thanks a bunch!

Question about your router, I have the same one (at least I think it’s the same), but I haven’t been able to find a thin enough wrench to be able to switch out the router bit. A standard bit doesn’t fit. Can you tell me where I can find it please? Great video, I was lost with the written instructions, but not anymore. Thank you!

I have an 8' opening, and I need to completely clear the opening when the 4 doors are open. Additionally, all 4 doors need to slide to the right side to clear the opening. I have an 8' wallspace to clear the doors to. so I need 192" minimum of rail. Do you make such a rail? Can I make my own rail and use your kit for the balance of hardware?

I've got 2.25" thick barn doors. Do i just need to use a longer hex bolt to create additional space between the doors on a bypass system? Do i need to add spacers? Do I use a longer hex bolt and additional spacers? Cant find any systems for sale that accommodate a 2.25" thick door.

Hi Mike. I purchased a home with a sliding barn door in the master bath. Now the door seems to drag on the floor guides (routed groove type) and I'd like to fix that, but it doesn't appear that the door hardware allows for vertical adjustments. Other than removing the door and sanding the bottom, is there a way to raise the installed barn door? Thanks.

When adding the extra height to accommodate the rails along with the height of door Is your rail height the bottom of the rail the top of the rail or where the hole is at on the rail. 🤔

7/32 is the proper size for the standard hex lag bolts that come in these kits.

Step by step if you have a machine shop at your house. You're better off paying somebody to do it. Was going to try and install mine, but forget that..😵‍💫

I was just looking on Amazon and I noticed they call them double track. Have you thought about contacting the manufacturer of your original that you have already? I've also noticed that with the double track the bracket for one of the doors is different of course because these are bypass doors. I hope any of that helps you!

The outside door will stick of the wall about 3.5” to 4” depending on if you use a header board. I attached a 3.5” board sideways on mine on one side and 1.5” on the other side or else you would be able to see in the room.

The horizontal metal strip on the bottom doesn’t meet in the middle. It looks like you were a bit off on your measurement.

  • @AB5900.

Did you noticed that it’s the same board, he just edited it to look like it was two doors, when he pushes the door behind the other one notice the shadow between them, and side by side at the end of the video you could see that the two doors are identical, they have identical knots, and that does not happen with wood. So in reality it’s not a problem of measurement, just that he did not make two doors, so that mismatch is to be expected, and editing it to look like 2 doors is very complicated because there's too much to coordinate.
