I'm 4years in and many videos and still dunno what's going on. But now trying to proper learn so actually need a 4hour play session soon instead of minor sessions

Fun fact, that Urban World specialization for Gestalts (Nest World for Hives and i forget what is called for machines) actually increases specialist pop output instead of trade value, making tech worlds much more viable on those.

Fortess worlds are fly inhibitors. So they have their use but not as a respurce genrrator. As a hard stop to enemy advancement.

I have a question my building slots aren't opening up even tho I did what u said

Great video, but the zoom cuts started to give me a headache, there are way too many and with not a lot of time between them.

I have an issue with tech habitats in that you can't build an orbital ring on them. Making tech-worlds actually better on the long run. Percentile bonuses are additive and a 15% to production is a loss less impactful uf you already have +50 % which you can easily get from technology. Whereas +x bonus to base production is multiplicative, it is multiplied by all the percentile bonuses you already have. Through that lens i think the best "tech world" is a factory world with lots of labs for which the production-increasing buldings on planet and on the ring go to tech production in priority. That way your consumer goods production follow your cunsimption organically and since factory world remplace metallurgists it's more efficient. Using specialised planets also change the dynamic about when you build ressource producing jobs. What i mean by that is whereas you would build districts or buildings you're in a deficit of the ressource you build the district for, meaning your production follow your economy, you now start to build the district corresponding to your designation whenever you have the pops for it. This is why it is best to specialise for things you never have enough of. That means alloys, energy, mineral to make alloys, tech and maybe unity.

I have 150 hours now and never won a single game, mostly because my economy is always in shamble and my planet is always lacking in population Can you do a video on how to manage Population?

Kinda late to the party but what about for Gestalt Consciousness? What do I build instead of Holo Theaters first? (Besides Machine Assembly for Machines ofc).

It could still be useful in early game I suppose because it helps to build and sustain a very research focused planet without being too much of a burden for your economy

Why Holo-Theaters? Whats the difference from that compared to Monument?

if I'm not mistaken holo theatres provide more amenities than the monument, it's about keeping all the working pops happy. Also it is upgradable to provide tons more amenities down the road, while still only using one building slot

Guess I'm playing wrong then. I'm not letting planet deficit in my planets.

Can you choose a specialize for your starting world?

Yes if your a standard or non gestalt empire you can change your empire capital.
