The Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram dealerships have no idea when they'll be able to order the EV. Their floor plans are suffering and many of them are going out of business. They have no choice but to keep the markups on the existing Scats, Hellcats and other SRT vehicles. Too bad that in a high interest market, this stuff ain't selling. They dug themselves a grave and Stellantis passed them the shovel.

I hear you all, but honestly ALL our American automakers bending over for the "good graces" of the Government. The Chrysler Corp. is just the worst at hiding it. I have an extremely low mileage (13k) '19 Ram 1500 Longhorn Crewcab 4x4, and was thinking about trading it for the new '25 Tungsten, but with all the bad reviews and quality issues a considerable amount of people are having with them, as well as a few other models, I don't think I'm interested. Not to mention the actual 90k plus dollar out the door price!...c'mon man.

The early adopters have adopter, mass market doesn’t want them currently

The US isn’t the gold standard market for auto sales; China’s automotive sector is 3x the size of the US. This is why US automakers have been falling all over themselves to increase sales in China. Hell, up until recently China was GM’s largest market- but now that Chinese customers prefer their domestic vehicles over imports- US automakers Chinese market share is plunging.

Stellantis will be gone in no time. Ram is the only thing that can help them.

CHINA is excellent at making EV. They have the raw materials. JAPAN is HORRIBLE at making EV. they don't have the raw materials. That's why HONDA and ACURA asked GM to build them an EV. The Toyota BZ4x and Subaru Solterra are the same car. Do you really trust Stellantis to deliver a reliable EV - on its first try?

They sure can make them, but as far as being excellent at it, I'm not so sure. It doesn't take much effort to find people in China complaining about their EVs either burning to the ground, falling apart or suffering from build quality issues. Though, with all of the infrastructure and raw materials at their fingertips, yeah, Chinese manufacturers can churn out EVs like nobody else.. I just don't trust them in general to deliver a reliable EV anymore than Stellantis.
