We were so wrong to think Stell's solo would be a ballad 😂. Stell even pranked us when he said he went on an audition for a musical play and then proceeded to post snippets of him singing inside his room building towards this launch.

I think this song is like an introduction to what stell can do, he can sing and dance so well. Im excited for his EP.

We didn't expect him to release a funky pop song .. but it suits him well with the Bruno Mars/ MJ vibes. Its unique and showcased his talent as a total performer.

This just shows he does not want to be boxed in people’s expectations. Which is refreshing.

We were all taken by surprise hahaha I love what he did with his debut song by reminding us that he’s not just a great vocalist/balladeer but he also has a big personality to go along with it. 😊 He will also release his EP which means we are now saving up for 6 albums/EPs: SB19, PABLO, Josh, Stell, FELIP, and Justin! 😂

I think, it is safe to say that SB19 members are the only Filipino Boy Group that has successfully made solo careers while still active as a group. This is one for the books. I could be wrong but if I am, I'm pretty close to being right!

He was asked by Pablo what he wanted for his solo and he said he wanted Bruno Mars/Michael Jackson/Theatrical vibe and that's the outcome. He's also interested to try jazz. The sky's the limit for him.

What I loved about this solo is how much the other members contributed. Yes Pablo wrote it, Justin directed it, but you could also hear Ken and Pablo recorded vocals for the prechorus where Stell sings “BABE, INVADE, SAY”. I’m sure Josh recorded vocals too maybe but those two you can hear for sure!

You gotta watch the live version with AOS, it’s so good! He’s dropping an EP and local tours in August!

This is on top of his concerts with Filipino legends + David Foster! No one should sleep on Stell Proud Berries No one leaving

I was one of the people hoping against hope that he would release a danceable track instead of a ballad just to remind everyone of his dancing skills and overall versatility. I don’t know if you’ve seen the dance practice or the live performance on AOS but I think this track pulled that off. At this point most people already know he’s a great singer but I think many still need to see he can do more than ballads and belting. Not to say there aren’t some pretty cool vocal bits here. Agree about the Bruno Mars and MJ influences, though I really get more MJ here. And he did say that he wanted to mash theater/Broadway with the song! I do wonder if he’ll perform this on the tour with Eric without any dancers, though. Can’t wait for his EP in August.

COACH, you won't believe it. Everything happened so fast. STELL. WAS ONLY SUPPOSED TO DO THE FRONT ACT in David Foster's concert. We don't know yet what exactly happened but Stell performed All by Myself with David Foster himself. He said Stell was incredible. He was in awe.❤❤❤❤❤

In one interview, stell, expressly requested for a song with an mj/bruno mars vibe but pablo went overboard and added a touch of justin timberlake ...

Pablo made this song so that Stell can have his solo. On one interview, Stell was asked why he was the last one to have a single. He said he's scared to perform alone, that he always wants to be with his groupmates Even with the Erik Santos tour, he's already having separation anxiety. He said he's not used travelling and performing without the other members. His fear stemmed from their trainee days when the others resigned and he was left all alone. But he was also encouraged by his brothes to go solo, telling him he can do it. They all agreed that they can all go solo but their priority should always be SB19.
