Because your screen will switch to the camaraman. I don't recall seeing any camaraman on stage during a song. Edit: Just saying.

It's amazing cause allot of the camera pans are done to conseal the change in the stage. But it just looks like they are trying to be a bit more interactive

Once you saw the TV version, it is actually pretty impressive how coordinated everything was to make it possible. They had not only to dance, but also appear, dissappear and change clothes at very precise moments.

At the semi finals i wasn't paying attention to the tv for a bit and when i looked back just saw walking pants and that was the funniest shit it really made my night

Yeah. But he actually didn't forget it. He had to take of a green glove while not being able to see. So, he ended up taking off, both the green glove and the white one.

Stefania was awesome! But also props to obviously the dancers, but also the set workers and cameramem. Just one second delay from a cameraman or set worker would ruin the whole show. Great work for being so swift, I imagine it was probably stressful and tiring for them.

Crazy how they are this quick at building those sets, when the cam pans away from the back view, they immediately start building

I was chillen' at home and it is so different to what it really looked like!

Props to the technical team. I hated how it looked, very tacky and tasteless BUT the technical team was wonderful in making it happen, which is something hard to do.

Yeah, I hated it too. But, I've got a newfound respect for this entry now that you see all the technical effort that went in to it. Amazing work! Still looked tacky though.

I think the biggest problem was that they didn’t utilise the graphics to their best ability. The moving city scape didn’t accentuate the tech they were using. If they had given proportions and a stable setting it would have look so much cooler. Think her jumping off a building or floating in a sea, or in space. Instead they didn’t trick our eye or give us something to be surprised by other than her floating.

Omg this performance gives me anxiety, it’s so stressful to watch the dancers. But they all did a great job 👏🏻

Wow! On stage didn't seemed good as the amazing work we saw on TV , but I can say after seeing your video ,it was a really challenging project clearly. So thanks to show us! Greetings from Greece!🇬🇷

Indeed it was strange. I was only in one final (2018) and there was nothing like this. For me it was very very interesting seeing the backstage, all the things they do to not show when they are assembling the green scenaria, while she is looking at the camera facing back to the public

Very interesting to see how it worked. I worked in live TV for years and thought maybe some of it had to of been pre recorded. But was just very quick and slick stage management

Stefania should’ve made top3 at least 💕 very classy with a beautiful voice. I bet everyone will be dancing to this song all summer

Nope, it is just a normal Eurovision song. There is nothing special about it and the staging is just awful. Greece must return to its own music instead of western generic pop music. The combination works much better like in 2005.

No. He used projections on a wall. Not the green screens like this one. I believe this was the first time ever to be used at eurovision

@@coruscantpt Yes, I did read something similar after I posted above. It seems that Sergey had a projection of some kind and Stefania had green screen. Unfortunately, I have never managed to find a decent clip of how Sergey's worked behind the scenes. Both were really creative performances.

Yeah they did have screens but obviously not in sight of the cameras, that would've ruined the entire thing. Anyway if I had been there I probably would've stared at the green screen only it looks so funny haha, and also just the dancers and everyone running around to make this work, it's just amazing! I'd watch the actual thing at home 🙃

No. It was the lights from the other side of the arena and from the top that were lit

The stairs are simply painted green but have bright lights shining on them.
