Damon does anything to protect Elena, but doesn't think about others. Stefan would always protect Elena but he always sacrifices himself so others don't get any harm. Stefan is a really genuine and pure person. On the other hand, Damon does anything for the girl he loves he doesn't care about anyone he breaks hearts, he does everything to be bad. Stefan deserved better.

Stelena was such an epic love. He saved her before he even knew her. Damon only let her live because she looked like Katherine. Damon spent 145 years obsessed with Kat and then Elena comes along and he thrusts those feels on her. Stefan loved Elena for Elena. She never wanted to be a vampire. Also Damon only did stuff for himself. Stefan sacrificed everything for Damon time and time again. So many people said the Elena was Stefan’s epic love. That kind of love doesn’t just fade. She would always love him and he would always love her. They were soulmates. They had a love that anyone would kill for. The show was ruined when Damon and Elena got together. Damon was so jealous over Stefan because Katherine choose Stefan over him. Idk how Elena could even look at Damon. He killed her brother. Idk about you but if anyone touched my siblings there would be severe pain involved. Stelena deserves better, for all the hell they both went through.

Let's not forget that Stefan was killed Enzo,Bonnie's boyfriend. Bonnie was broke and that definitely not happy Elena. Also DELENA FOREVER!!!!!❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ Delena were epic love, because original suggests to Elena to forget her good memories with Damon and left only the bad. Nevertheless Elena again love Damon although he killed her brother. In 8 season the siren Sybil appears , which enters in Damon's beautiful head and replace Elena with herself, BUT Damon again love Elena!!! Is this enough to prove that their love is epic and REAL!!! By the way Stelena is the worst couple EVER!!!!!!!!!!

Loses all voice of reason and contradicts herself and her entire personality is selfish. But when she was with stefan they brought out the best in one another. Side note: damon and Bonnie would have been better for eachother and I wish I lived in a reality where this was the way the show went lol

@@anniekaroth5636 she was falling for damon when she was still searching for stefan and klaus, after telling stefan she loves him on the phone, after stefan sacrificed himself to klaus to save damon and trade himself to save jenna, elena even kissed damon in ending of season 2 while stefan was trying to save him. i stopped watching once i realized she was falling for damon in early in season 3. elena is a repulsive character. stefan deserved better than her anyways.

Stefan literally went into a cave he couldn’t escape where his nemesis was so he could save Jeremy, and what did Damon do? He killed Jeremy. But Elena still chose Damon, despite how much she loves her brother.

I hate that everyone likes Damon more because of his bad boy attitude or his hot body. Stefan was pure, sweet and just didn't even pay attention to his looks. He payed attention to Elena cause she was..well Elena, not some copy of Katherine. Lets remember that Damon was, and still is addicted to Katherine. And i DONT understand Steroline (Caroline and Stefan), I think thee writers payed attention to what the fans wanted, not what Elena and Stefan needed. They were soulmates and they had true love, and you could see that in the last episode. If i had to describe their love in 1 word, it would be:"epic."

Honestly, it's almost 2021 and I'm still pissed about the way tvd ended. What Stefan and Elena had was such a great and pure love, he really did everything for her. He sacrificed everything for her, over and over again. He sacrificed himself for her, by dying in the last episode cause he wanted her to see Damon. When Stefan calls her in her birthday and he didn't need to say something for her to know it was him? CHILLS, LITERALLY CHILLS. Delena or Stelena we all have to agree that in that one scene WOW. Honestly this Delena crap is settling a bad example on how relationships should be. I'm so sick of this shit like why it always has to be the "bad guy" who gets the girl? Stelena had everything: passion, luxury, compassion, respect, communication... What they had was an epic love, literally epic. They had what everyone want and there's a lot of people who can't find it. They deserved so much better!!!!! They had a love that anyone would kill for, I'd kill for it too.

No she was sired to Damon, because she drank from his blood. Elena was already in love with Damon before she became a vampire. Her sire bond only maximized her feelings for Damon.

exactly. she loved damon but she was still in love with stefan when she died as human. vampirism heightens feelings and she was sired to damon. so it heightened her feelings for damon becos of the sire bond. but it did nothing about stefan because he wasn't her sire. when she chose stefan over damon before she died, she chose it because she loved stefan more. even when she was in the cells, about to die cos she didn't feed to transition, she chose stefan, she told him she came back for him because she loved him over damon. but once she fed, her sire bond activated and she suddenly wasn't into stefan as much as before. and when she fed from damon (disgusting cos damon knew how deep that is and how it can ruin stelena and he still made her feed from him) it got worse cos she was now more connected to damon than ever.

I love Stelena.. I cried when the show ended and Elena said "I had an epic life, and I owe it all to Stefan" I BURST into tears. ~cries~

Well it's true he saved her both times even though the 2nd time she only came back a vamp was because he let her make a decision that she wanted, Damon never let her do what she wanted he even said he wouldn't have let Matt die instead. No matter how bad Klaus used to be he was right about one thing 'Love like that NEVER dies' Stelena and Klaroline (I can't make up my mind about Jeremy with Anna, or Bonnie) should've ended together! Stefan's love was stronger than his BLOODLUST! HE'S A RIPPER AND HIS LOVE WAS STRONGER! Damon in SEASON 1 LITERALLY BITES HER! I'm about to go read fanfiction where they are endgame as they should've been all along! And how dare the writers to dangle hope for Stelena just to rip it away! 2020 still BITTER AF!

This is how the book went tho just tweaked they did the whole delena thing longer because the fans forced it I’m guessing Julie wanted to keep the ratings high because of that if Nina never left Selena would have been endgame gotten back together and end how it started an epic love. Julie said it herself plus kinda forced it since you can tell delena was kinda epic at some point because they dated in real life.

Elena and Stefans relationship was supposed to be endgame, Elena and Stefans love was pure. Stefan deserved so much more. He tried his hardest for her, he resisted an original vampires compulsion because of his love for her. It was the perfect relationship. Stefan was the perfect boyfriend. Their love was real. Stefan did everything he could for Elena. Everything that Elena needed / wanted she had. Because of Stefan. It was clear Stefan was the better option. Their relationship was based on happiness, love, kindness and all these other things. Yes they had their ups and downs but every relationship does. Damon and Elenas relationship was based on anger and violence. Stefan was pure. They needed to be endgame. I don’t even want to watch it anymore because they broke up. She made him a better person and he did the same to her. He was pure. As Katherine said “Stefan is the better man” STELENA FOREVER ❤️❤️❤️

"I don't have anyone anymore." "You have me." Stefan is Elena's crying shoulder. He's always there to hug and comfort her. Stefan would have sacrificed himself for Jenna so that Elena wouldn't lose another family member. He would have died for her happiness. Elena went to save Stefan on a full moon. There were werewolves everywhere and she was just a human. She could die easily. But she had to see him. HUMAN ELENA GILBERT 😭🤍 She knows he's there without even hearing him. In 3x1 when Stefan calls, Elena answers and without him saying anything she knows its him. He didn't say anything but knew he was there. If that isn't true love, what is Elena didn't think she could ever be happy again, until she met Stefan. "Whatever I feel for you, I'll never unfeel for him." This quote was said by Elena to Damon. No matter what she feels for Damon, she'll always feel it for Stefan. They would NEVER hurt or let anyone hurt other. That's the last thing they would ever do. Stefan and Elena mean the world to each other. They are just absolutely perfect. "The only thing stronger than your cravings for blood, is your love for this one girl." Stefan's love for Elena is stronger than EVERYTHING. When Stefan was weak Elena gave him some of her blood everyday so he would get stronger. She'd do anything for him. He'd do anything for her. Even when Stefan and Elena were together Damon was constantly hitting on and flirting with Elena and had no sense of privacy and one time tried compelling her to kiss him and that time when he did compel her and was trying to constantly kiss her and didn't care for his brother's love life and his constant encroachment and his selfishness and the fact he kills people in cold blood when he gets upset or when Elena upsets him. I love Damon as a character but he just wasn't right for Elena. He was a good solo character.

Damon took the cure with so much of thought process and time but Stefan who really wanted to grow old with her, would have taken it in a blink of an eye. Tbh people loved Delena because of real life Nian and Ian's hot looks, but ideally Stelena was the ultimate ship on the show.

Damon didn't want to take the cure, he was fine as a vampire. Much like caroline. But stefan was dying to be human his whole existence as a vampire, I can't believe he didn't get his happy ending.

I'm forever bitter that they weren't a endgame

I agree, I like stelena forever. If director didnot change the story elena and stefen will be the forever. It will be the beautiful ending like twilight saga. Elena and stefen perfect each other. I don't think stefen deserves caroline. Stefen deserves only Elena even if she is a human or vampire. May be demon deserves katherine Or caroline. It will be the nice if this would be the end. But it didn't. Director did the whole creepy thing. Because we know how much they loved each other Elena and stefen in the beginning. No one can digest after stefen married caroline. Whole creepy thing happened otherwise the end will be on awesome like twilight saga bella and edward. Is it just me or do Paul and Nina have SO much more chemistry on screen than Nina and Ian? I don’t know if it’s because Nina and Ian dated and it was more awkward doing scenes together? But even while they were dating in the first few seasons, the Stefan and Elena scenes were just so pure and beautiful to me. I couldn’t believe the fan base shipped Delena more than Stelena, I was actually shocked. The writers even said they only changed it for the fans. It was never supposed to happen, especially with how the first few seasons were written. You could FEEL the bond between Stefan and Elena. And even after the writers tried so hard to make it seem like the Stelena relationship never existed. They tried to make all of these heartfelt scenes between Elena and Damon, and then they threw Stefan and caroline together. None of it convinced me. None of these couples had the chemistry and the love story like Stefan and Elena. “That kind of love NEVER dies”

That‘s completely NOT true Damon was the one who had to endure watching Stefan and Elena having a good time, and he put up with it without hesitation, waiting for the right moment, because when Elena was single, he literally caught her and Stefan was the one here who didn't get along with Damon's and Elena's relationship, or did you forget how much Stefan went crazy when Caroline told him that Damon and Elena slept and were together? Damon and Elena together in the end makes no sense, in so many ways, I just finished the show thinking that’s eventually Stefan and Elena or at least Katherine would end up together... but he ends up with Karoline. This could’ve honestly been the greatest show I’ve ever watched if it didn’t end the way it did

Knowing that they aren't going to be together anymore, and that the show is no longer continueing anymore episodes. It makes me so sad that they were not endgame, and I know that everyone says they should've been endgame. But the truth is, they really should have. Stefan and Elena's love was so pure, kind hearted, real, passionate, selfless, and epic. They were soulmates, they changed the other for the better even if they went through lots of bumps in the road. If they were not soulmates they wouldn't have changed one another the way they did. Stefan and Elena really made the whole show worth watching. It's disappointing that they producers couldn't carry them to the end. Stelena's love, forever and always

I agree so much. The feelings they give I have never felt like this with any couple before. They are really something special.

I cried sm but i did realise that even through when they had broken up the way they looked at eachother- its like you could see every single pure bit of love for eachother in their eyes.They even were flirting. Stefan was always the first one to come to the rescue, first one to respect her choices, first one to fight for her, first one to sacrifice himself for her, first one to recognise katherine had taken over elena,and mostly of all.. First and last one to love her the most.💝

I’m rewatching TVD and I’m so sad that Stephan and Elena never ended up together. Elena doesn’t belong with Damon honestly.

Not every love story has a happy ending..stelena's ending was tragic, but that doesn't make it any less EPIC! Stefan and elena made me fall in love with them..and I fianlly understood what love is!

I can not get over the scene where Elena was on the phone to Stefan when he rang her. (This was when he went on a rampage with Klaus) When she answered the phone even when he didn’t make a sound she knew it was him, she reassured him that it was going to be ok and that she loved him. She kept on looking for him and he told her to go away but she never gave up on him. Their love was epic, if she hadn’t been turned with Damon’s blood then her and Stefan could have worked out.

She literally played well with both of their lives for her own fun/need. Stefan was the one so badly affected. He never stopped caring for her even though she moved on. And the best part about Stefan is he cares about everybody not just her.

The best part about Stefan is that he does not let being a Vampire define himself. Before turning he was a good person and he tried to be the same good person even after turning.

The reason why I loved stephen is that the fact that they broke up he still protect her shows that he his always going to be the better man even tho damon and elena end up together ,stephen was still happy for them and he did everything he can to make them have their happy ending so Stephen will always be my favorite character.

He was so nice that they dated because of a promise to keep her happy and safe he’s so nice and kept Caroline’s moms promise and gave her everything she ever wanted and missed because of being a vampire.

They just threw Stefan and Caroline together quick so that Stefan wouldn't end up all alone. He will never love stupid Caroline like he loves Elena. He settled for Caroline just to make Damon happy, cause he knew Elena brings out the best in him... So he chose Damon's happiness over his own. It's pretty depressing

stefan's love was pure and from the heart, he would've done anything for her and respected her. he loved her so much that he did everything in his power to make her happy even if it meant hurting her or himself in the process. that is the kind of love that never dies. the kind of love that even when ur broken up and both have different significant others u still would do anything for each other and still put each other first. the kind of love that didnt need physical touch to keep on burning. the kind of love that broke through any obstacles it faced. a flame that kept burning through centuries. the story started with Stefan and Elena pulling each other out of their own emotional black holes. they showed each other how to live and love again. they gave each other purpose.

The entire series is about Stefan's sacrifice..and he ended up sacrificing his life too... yup..delena. did end up together...but.. sorry for them...tvd...is all about stefen...stefen ....stefen....he is pure ...

Am I only one who love stelena more than dalena... In first or second season I literally feel bad for damon but after third season I feel really worse for stefen.

Watching this video after such a long time makes me realize that Stefan is a truly pure person! A boyfriend like him, who respects all wishes, helps you, supports you... that’s just.. I don’t know out of this world. I remember while watching the show I wanted Elena and Damon to end up, but now being older, being through a lot of shit, makes me think otherwise. Stefan would have been my choice. It would always be Stefan if I was in Elena’s position!

I think all the delena shippers back then ...we grew up. We know now that men like Damon are awful. I dream of someone like Stefan and reality make you realize that men like Stefan are rare...sadly

I will always be disappointed on how they destroyed Elena’s character. I think she sometimes was annoying but vampire Elena was so shallow so obsessed with Damon and didn’t car for anything else at all, they really didn’t gave Elena the character development she deserved. I love Damon but after everything he did and what Stefan did for Elena to be happy, she chose the wrong Salvatore and us and the whole show knows it.

That’s what happens to Stefan just for wanting to start over? I personally hate Damon he’s soo overrated , everyone thinks Damon deserves better but why? Definitely overrated, he is the hot bad boy with something good inside that's why. Delena and karoline are the most overrated ships ever. They were born out of chemistry between the actors.

The director killed me the moment Stefan died. He is the perfect guy I want to be. I call him, Mr. Too perfect. He deserved Elena .

Amazing work! It’s 2019 and it still bothers me that they didn’t end up together. They were THE BEST couple on television. Stefan was a perfect boyfriend, he valued what she wanted, he’s always been there for her. I’m rewatching tvd for like the 10th time and I still can’t figure out why Elena fell for Damon and chose him over Stefan. In the first episode of season 4 she said to Stefan that she chose him and that was the best decision she would ever make. And just about two episodes later she doesn’t trust him anymore and starts ditching him for Damon. The writers messed this show so much, most of the Delena scenes doesn’t even make sense. I don’t think I’m ever going to be over that...
