Seen 'em three times ... the last with Walter ... then fucking Covid ... would love to again. The band still sounds so tight. Love Jon Herington's style on this signature solo ... one of the best. Always great to see Keith Carlock on drums ... still!

Just saw them in PHX a couple weeks ago. Hands down best concert I’ve ever been to. True fucking players. Carlock was an absolute animal, especially on the Aja solos. Life changing type concert

Damn that line up. Herrington killing the solos and Rogers on the rhythms. Damn

My fav among many great SD classics! Original rhythm section of Purdy and Raney was just killer - a masterpiece of lyrics, guitar solo, and in the pocket funk.

I’ve been heavy into The Dan for about 10 years now, especially the Royal Scam album. Just found out from some KZread video like 2 weeks ago that Bernard was the drummer on the entire Royal Scam album, can’t believe I missed that!!

A friend from my hometown ended up playing with Chuck Rainey some years back. Went out to see them one night and we all loaded up and went out for some food after the show. Somebody stuck a Steely Dan CD in. Pretty soon Chuck said "Hey, this is pretty good. Who is it?" Uh, dude, among others, it's YOU. He then said that he'd played on so many different things back then that it was hard to keep up. And we had a laugh and believed him.

It's great to have the magnficent Steely Dan back--thank you for sharing this!

20 years ago I thought Steely Dan sounded like a high-end wedding band, but this line up nails the youthful exuberance of the recordings. Virtuoso, yet understated performances all around and Herrington is just killing it!

Third time for us at the Bowl with Steely Dan… Obviously, first time without Becker. Missed his presence for sure but we wouldn’t have missed it for the world. Such a great show!

Walter was great but Herrington is a better player, Rogers is about on par with Becker IMO

who let them escape the old folks home

Listening to this song without Larry Carlton is like listening to mid-70’s Joni Mitchell without Jaco Pastorious. It just ain’t right.

Steely Dan is part of musical DNA and all of their work is dear to me, but why - no offence intened - does Donald Fagan allways give me the impression that he is pain and discomfort performing. He seesm to be suffering some ailment even when performing his own best work.

Get rid of the white chick as the background singer she's just there as a job and she's not even having fun like the black chicks at least they are smiling and enjoying themselves

Get someone that can play the real Larry Carlton solo. 🫤
