Steely Dan 2003-10-02 Los Angeles, CA | Remastered Full Concert
Музыка
I improved the audio quality of this recording from the Universal Amphitheatre on October 2, 2003, featuring a guest appearance from touring band alumnus John Beasley who sits in on the song FM. This is the best sounding recording of a show from the 2003 tour, and it includes a performance of the title track from the Everything Must Go album. Ted Baker's keyboard playing throughout this concert is particularly good in my opinion.
Slideshow photos are mostly from Pete Fogel's metalleg.com, and the former Steely Dan official website now hosted at sdarchive.com. They are taken from assorted stops on the 2003 tour.

I was looking for EMG live, and i came across this posting. I traveled from San Antonio to see this show so it is a real find.
Everything Must Go gives me chills.
Such a pleasure to listen the Master Cornelius Bumpus!! Thanks for sharing!
IMO, the band was at its tightest in 2000-2003. Ted Baker did a great job with all the little intro's and outro's to the songs.
Steely Dan Belcher, thank tou again.
Cooking where there is a amazing fire 🔥 My all time favorite band. Thank you so much for sharing. 😎👍🎵🍻
Just what more can you say except these guys are what you call the masters of their trade
KA soundtrack. Thanks for sharing. Got to see them after a 30 year wait in 2007 while Becker was still with us. They were well worth the wait.
Everything Must Go (amazing rendition) followed by Parker’s Band is quite the treat. Late to the party on this particular one but so glad I finally made it. Horns are spectacular throughout. Thx for posting.
Time outta mind..😊
Thanks much for posting these concerts. GREAT for us Dan heads. Black Cow was the best on this tour with Baker on Rhoads
Thank you again for a great video / audio... Aja is a bit slower. I always jump straight into that for the amazing drum sections :-)
Just so great
Dan. Thank you!
Fantastic!!
Thanks again.
Keith is such a force on the kit
Wow
Did these guys ever put out any bad music? I don't think so !!

And Parkers Band😂
I always wondered why they dropped slang of ages for daddy don’t live in NYC..? Both really good songs, I’m just surprised the change happened mid tour lol

A lot of people don't like it when bands from the '70s play the new stuff, so I wonder if too many people were taking bathroom breaks during Slang and missing the band intros.

@@djbelc01 possibly.. if so, what a shame about them.
I'm a huge SD fan but Fagan's voice is totally shot in this recording. Caves of Altimira is unlistenable. I think the 2000 tour was the last live dated where Fagen still sounds like himself. It's sad but happens to everyone.

It's better than any live renditions from the 70s

The full band opener, Aja, has more straining from Don to my ears than any of the rest of this show
