Both Duke Manyweather and Matt Williamson thought very highly of McCormack. Both of them were talking about getting him for center, and Williamson had him mocked to the Steelers at the top of the third round, so he may have been a bit of a steal.

I love the McCormick pick you can never have enough O-Line depth and he has starter potential, I personally would have went with Brendan Rice over Logan Lee because WR was a bigger need and with the way the Steelers develop WR's Rice could have been an absolute steal, Watts gives me Tre Norwood vibes and could be serviceable slot CB/S depth

JPJ, Darius Rush, Cory Trice, Ryan Watts all between 6"'2" and 6'3" and 200lbs + with 4.4 speed with the exception of Watts who is 4.5. This is a classic Tomlin's CB Room.

Lot of length. Still think watts ultimately settles as some sort of deployment piece but I’ll be watching him closely in camp

Man, I 💯 agree about this draft. Don't remember one that was so top-heavy. I was hoping the Steelers would have used our later picks and make a trade to move up. Too many good WRs that we passed one

I absolutey love our young CBs, trice looked really good before he went down. None of ua about his injury issue, but hopwfully its 1 and done. Rush was veiwed as delopement project, and now Watts. All these guys are tall 6'2" plus and 200lbs plus and porter and watts with those wingspans is crazy. Cant wait to see how they develope, and with bishop kinda interested to see how he looks in the slot. And with the d-line i cant wait to see how much more benton develops, and if they start using him more at outside DT. Espcially if adams can take up a few more snaps on the inside.

The Steelers have always been one of my Side Teams, I thought it was an exceptional draft for y'all. Right there with the F'n Philly, San Diego, Washington, and Detroit 🙂

Yea if u don’t mind doing the udfa we pick up in either a video like this or film breakdown I watch college football but not a ton to know everyone appreciate it found this channel like a week ago I subscribed so fast

Roman Wilson needs someone else to be wr2 for him to really look like a good pick

The draft was a solid A- maybe B+ depending on how the guys all turn out obviously but DJ James should've been the pick when logan lee went then take logan at 195 he surely wouldve been there

Roman Wilson is the same height and Weight as AB.

Now to complete the 2024 Steelers. We need to repeat the Wilson philosophy (Russel Wilson, Roman and Payton Wilson) and Resign Cam Sutton and Trade a 2025 6th round pick for Courtland Sutton

Wingo way more solid than Lee.

See I'm different I'm completely fine with giving this draft a A I had one goal I wanted to complete in this draft an it was to ensure najee has his best year actually being able to run against the better teams regardless off there front to many times we get in these games an can't consistently run the ball

Could the addition of McCormick mean the end for Herbig? Trade him for a day 3 pick? He doesn’t have a real role anyway and you save a couple of million in cap space.

Pickens 1, Wilson 2, and Austin slot wouldn’t work?

@@Steelers_DB thank for the reply 🙏🏻 i think he has the talent and drive to do it. Highest separation percentage against man (85%) in this draft Class. We had to replace Johnson and I believe this will turn out to be an upgrade to him. He’s got the tools And I think hes coming in more polished than johnson did coupled with a better work ethic. Sutton or boyd would be good additions. However I do think Wilson can an will be wr2 sooner rather than later Thanks for all the work you put in for us 🙏🏻 blessings to you and yours

DB have you ever looked at the second receiver stats for A. Smith’s offense. They’re never good. Number ! , Both TE’s and the Running backs Receiving stats are always above the Number 2. So why worry about it?

To an extent, I see your point. But the way the NFL is right now, you have to adapt. Part of why smiths offenses flamed out in Atlanta.
