I purchased a VKB Evo and love it. I have wanted to see a throttle like this from VKB for sometime and do plan on purchasing one of these.

New owner. Just sent off for a Glad NXT Right Prem and a STECS Mini+. I'm so excited my bones are rattling with pure, condensed joy.

As always, the products look phenomenal. And by taking the modular approach, just like with the Kosmosima and MCG grips, you aren't stuck with just one configuration, like you are with other throttles or grips. Just another way VKB is at the top of the food chain when it comes to flight and space sim peripherals. 🎉🎉🎉

Glad to see @PredatorMounts comment here. Happy customer of both he and VKB! I am definitely considering a purchase of the STECS. Really want to see some influencers get these in their hands so they can discuss how these feel and compare to the other options out there. I have the VKB Ultimate stick, which is metal and absolutely love it. I am generally concerned about how the plastic STECS "feels".

@MisterMannIndy from what I remember, there is a linear metal version coming as well. I don't remember all the details, and I could even be wrong, but for some reason I remember a linear metal version in the pipeline..maybe that's the version you're waiting for?

@@PredatorMounts - possibly. Given there are already decent competitive products out there, I don't think I have the patience to wait for VKB's metal offering. We'll see. Right now, I fly the heck out of my modified TM TWCS (plastic). I'm not a metal snob by any means, but have been spoiled by the VKB metal stick. Regardless, when I do purchase something, I'll be coming to you for the mounting!!

@@MisterMannIndy So as someone that uses the Koshima sticks I would say that their plastic feels like the interior of a Volkswagen, but more sturdy? it feels like a good plastic, I'll probably get one of these to replace my CM2 throttle, since it would simplify my set up to be full VKB, just gotta see what all the options are, mainly if the landing gear is a slider or if there is an option to put the THQ below the STECS

Im loving this but i cant figure out whats best for star citizen this or the omni throttle? I love how they made it miniature. Because its always a stretch trying to reach certain buttons or controls on the fly. Great win for VKB

The Standard version fits the current UCM WH plate. For the others we'll release dedicated UCM plates soon.

Is Stecs Mini heavy enough to stand still while using it? Btw, what's the weight of Mini? But I think I will go with that small addon with few buttons on it as well.

No, like specified in the video, has to be clamped. It doesn't even come with rubber feet.

Is it plug and play after installing ATEM or do you have to do some button sequence after installing it? Looks incredible and can hardly wait to get my greedy claws on it

The Mini is for mounts or for some desktop clamps. The Standard version has more than 2kg.

I have WW2 too. I'm thinking of getting a coupler, rotate the THQ to vertical position next to the SEM-V and then install STECS standard at the bottom position. Issue is without a standard PCB to downgrade the THQ, I would have 2 USB A coming out of the thottle 😂

Where's the option for an ICP? The teaser going all the way back to 2021 showed that would be an option but it's not. Any plans to make it in the future?

On a STECS Max is the STEM connected via your type-C bus cable and is that cable included when buying the Max set? The reason I’m asking is because in none of your videos is it ever mentioned how the STEM connects to the base nor is the type-C listed as included on the “what’s included list” for the STECS Max.

Yes, on the Max version the STEM gets connected to STECS by the USB-C to USB-C cable and yes, it's included in the package. Sorry if this haven't been specified.

If I get your question right, there will be only the left hand version, sorry.

The modularity on this is interesting, but it's kinda sad that the STECS system isn't directly compatible with the side-to-side modular system the rest of your devices seem to be operating on.

If you're referring to the NXT modules, then STECS is a different line. They're still compatible through the MFH.

@@VKBSim perhaps they are compatible like that, but it still would've been cool to be able to have the STECS hooked to one side or the other of a left-handed EVO OTA: have dual sticks for regular maneuvers, and have some detents on the STECS for engaging bonus thrusters (in the middle) and then warp/jump/hyperdrive/etc at full extension.

Don't think so; we're still considering it, because the MAX is simply too long for mounts. We'll provide UCM plates for the Mini and Mini Plus (which is the same as MAX without the MFH). The Standard version will fit the current UCM's WH plate.
