Stearman Biplane Flying Lake Tahoe
Flying my 1944 #boeing #stearman #Biplane around #laketahoe is possibly one of the most beautiful flights one can do. The lake is 72 miles around, 15 miles wide and 27 miles long. In this video we fly over the deepest part of the lake at just over 1700' deep. Clarity is around 75'. It's the 5th largest Alpine lake in the world. If you have not been to Lake Tahoe, well the video just doesn't do it justice!
Lake Tahoe is a winter paradise with 17 ski resorts around the lake. The winter Olympics were here in 1960 in Squaw Valley, (Palisades now) but summer time brings out the tan lines, boats and endless water sports. Enough about Tahoe, just come see it for yourself sometime!

Great video, have a few dozen hours in the Stearman. My only critical comment would be to ditch the music and let that radial be the soundtrack. ;)

Wow Kevin, I haven't been to Tahoe in many years..... now, thanks to you, I have to go back. Only, I'll have to stay on the 'Merica side (Nevada) since I don't plan on EVER going back to The People's Republic of California.
