There's a reason she has the most subscribers of all ASMR artist's, that being that she is the best. She masters her voice better than anyone else, pure natural talent. She knows how to produce that melting tone of her voice, if you know what i mean. I haven't seen any other ASMR artist get that perfect melting tone.

Completely agree. Maria really gets it. She's always soft, but always audible, uses great equipment, and never assaults your senses or makes annoying noises. I find CuteBunny or whatever her name is (the Greek girl) comes close, because her voice / tone is amazing, and her hand movements are weirdly hypnotic, but she doesn't do enough ear-to-ear stuff for me.

For me, this is Maria's best video so far. The amount of detail that went into it, the personal attention/examination/face touching segments interspersed with the show and tell ones, the lighting that gets progressively dimmer and very aesthetic, the earthy colour scheme, and Maria's natural care - all of this is just so conducive to ASMR. Absolutely adore this.

This actually takes me back to when I was babysitting two girls. One was three and the other was four. They both LOVED playing "beauty shop," and their soft, sweet voices plus the very gentle way they played with my hair was kinda like this video. No tingles, just a very relaxing sensation and a feeling of "hey, I definitely think I'm missing out on feeling truly taken care of and pampered." I think I was brought up to believe this kind of thing (spa time) was either extravagant or foolish. I know now that in truth, what's foolish is allowing oneself to be stressed out to the point of manifesting depression and other dis-ease. ASMR is just another avenue to explore the desire--and willingness--to receive self-care. I love it! Thank you, Maria!

I've been watching your videos since I was 13 (I'm 24 now). I literally grew up watching you! 9 years later and this is still my favorite ASMR video. I love you Maria! Thank you for everything!

This is still the best asmr video all these years later. The way you explain things, your pace, your cadence. Like someone who is both an expert in their field and well trained in customer service, and wants to share that expertise. But has been doing it so long they could do it in their sleep, so there’s a practiced quality to the speech patterns. Blissful. It’s such a difficult thing to get right. The fact that you did all this with a second language is a huge accomplishment. Maria, you can do anything. ❤

I find that ASMRtist are so generous with their time and care. I really appreciate what you do for us without having to. It makes a huge difference in my life. I rest far better than ever! I must admit that this really felt like a facial. You did an outstanding job! You are a very gifted ASMRtist. Thank you.

I have 2 notes to self- 1.) Do not watch this while eating raw carrots. You can't hear anything. Finish your carrots and come back. 2.) Do watch this while using your nebulizer during an asthma attack. The "steam" from the medicine mimics the steam in the video and it helps make it feel even more real.

This video is 7 years old today. Still a gem

MASTERPIECE. I have watched it almost every night for nearly six weeks! I never get tired of it. There are so many extraordinary components (to use a Maria word) to this video. First of all, the lighting. Maria has done an amazing job lighting herself and the shower curtain, both at the beginning and the end with the blue watery light behind the curtain. And the lighting during the extractions phase is almost surrealistic and dreamlike. Maria's crinkle shirt is heaven, and so is her shimmery nail polish. Her personal beauty shines forth in this video so strong, with her lovely twisty braid, and the gorgeous alabaster column of her neck (10:00, beautiful). I love how the video is so long, filled with so much intimate personal attention of various kinds. She keeps constant contact with you - her attention, her gaze, her whispers, her touch, her facial expressions, all to communicate with and focus on you. So incredibly relaxing, really almost intoxicating. I love when she says "ear muffins", just like everyone else, but I also love when she says she is going to "scoop" forward to examine your skin. I love during the extractions phase at 21:02 when she catches your eye through the magnifying glass and smiles at you. This video is such an amazingly generous gift to all of us from a true artist. Maria, you have given me so many deeply delightful minutes of feeling attended to and cared for, even loved. Thank you, thank you so much.

I completely agree. There is a small tone or something in her voice that also causes tingles for me. I really wish I could describe it better other than this but bare with me: it is like when a low end tone when she says in certain sentences that have in the middle of them some types of syllables i think. There is a sound that comes out behind that transition. I love the sensation it causes... kind of like when you are on the beach and there's that one sound between the murmur of the sea and the crash of the waves. Does anyone else get this too?

I can't even describe how much I love this video. From her tone, to the crinkly shirt, and the crinkling of the product and mask packaging. Every detail is just absolutely wonderful and I can't get enough of it or the relaxing affirmations in the end. Maria, I'd love an updated version of this video if at all possible 🙌🏼 as much as I love all of your videos, this will always be my go to!

Anyone else here 5 years later? This spa treatment video is in my top 3 Maria videos of all-time...

It's been 4 years. How are you doing now?

I LOVE that you don't have the pretend back and forth conversation with the unnatural pauses/responses like some ASMR roleplays do. I appreciate the authenticity in how you verbalize the process and any observations. Very realistic and much easier to relax to. Thank you, Maria. Every evening I look forward to winding down with this video.

Since a year ago I got major depression and anxiety leading to therapy and medication. The last months I've been improving a lot, yet sometimes anxiety attacks begin to invade; Maria's videos have been such a loving tool to calm my mind and snap out of my momentarily ill mind. Watching Bob Ross ALWAYS makes me fall asleep.

I have this video as sound-only on my mobile so I can listen to it in bed. And although I love it just as sound as well, I cannot deny that I get the strongest tingles when I watch you in a video. It's not even the movements or anything, but all these little smiles and shiny eyes from you that make me feel all loved and cozy! :D

You've always been the most relaxing voice on KZread but you're also the *only* voice I can listen to when trying to fall asleep. Everyone else keeps me restless, but yours seems soft and rounded and muted enough that I don't keep being half-woken. :) Thanks for another great video!

6 years later and this is still my all time favorite ASMR video of all time!

For an entire year, I would play this video every night sometimes multiple times a night. It was the only thing that would get me to sleep. Ok, I'll be honest, I downloaded it and it had ~400 plays in a year. I think I know all of the script up to and including ear muffins. This is your best video of all time. Maria you are a GIFT
