The industry has changed but there is still much here for us

I always love the variety in these demos. The levels of absurdity are unpredictable, and often times in surprising ways! I need to show my sister "Thank Goodness You're Here" because she's been across the pond, and likes British humor.

I find a new powerpak video the second I sit down for dinner? What perfect timing!

My pick for "I can't wait for this game to release" is I Am Your Best. It's not amazingly creative, original, or well-made, but its tone alone just got me wholesale. "Special agent secluded from society in the forest gets another "one last mission" from the military, but says 'Actually, I will kill every single one of you until you regret ever sending me on assassination missions just to secure an oil monopoly,' all because some soldier decided to shoot down a bird" is such a great premise, and the way it's written and performed is just delightful. It also helps that it's a high octane arcade (puzzle) shooter, which is right up my alley.

A bit off-topic but when you flashed "Twisted Metal: Black" on screen it made me wonder... is that game considered good now? I was born perfectly in that PS1 era to LOVE twisted metal. The wacky maps, characters, and bossfights were so unique (Also the Rob Zombie, I'm not ashamed). Personally, when I got a PS2 and got the "Next-Gen" Twisted Metal: Black, it really didn't catch me the same. I feel like it was too dark and lost a lot of the charm of 1 and 2. I liked Sweet-Tooth turning into a goddamn mech though. I've never read or watched a retrospective on the series, but I would be surprised to hear Black was the fan favorite.
