@Fengari apart from Krusty himself, that’s not usually the case for the average episode. Even Flanders allows Rod and Todd to eat them, and he shelters them from things as minor as dice and seesaws.

It's like Skinner is a chronic liar and has asked Chalmers to help him get over it, so Chalmers has set up this scenario where he'll know when Skinner is lying about something and everytime he does, he shouts at him and makes him run a mile as punishment
